The game is also getting a much requested level cap increase. Let’s look at when Season 14 release date is and what it’s going to bring.

Apex Legends Season 14 release date

The game’s seasons usually last for three months and Season 14 Hunted is no different. The Apex Legends Season 14 update will go live on 9th August at 10 AM PT / 10:30 AM IST which will be 10th August at 1:00 AM SGT. Season updates are usually large, going well into the double digits. The Season 13 update was around 35 GB for the PC so expect a similar sized update.

What’s New in Apex Legends Season 14?

The Season 14 update will bring us a new Legend named Vantage. Xiomara “Mara” Contreras grew up in the cold, unforgiving planet Págos. The 18-year-old is the youngest legend to join the Apex games. The new recon legend will be the 22nd legend to join the roster.

A number of weapon changes are coming to the new season. Two of the heavy ammo guns are being changed up. The Wingman will now use sniper ammo while the Spitfire will now be using light ammo instead of heavy. The EVA-8 shotgun is getting a major buff with a high fire rate. You’ll now be able to use stock attachments with the shotgun and the Double Tap hop-up which is returning to the game in Season 14. The Skullpiercer hop-up is also coming back to the game which increases headshot damage. The supply drop weapons are also being changed up, with the Bocek Bow and the Rampage going into the supply drop pool and the G7 Scout and Volt SMG will back for ground loot.

Along with the weapon changes, Kings Canyon is being brought back into the map rotation with a couple of map changes. Self-revive is also being removed from the game with the Gold Knockdown shield now granting the Guardian Angel perk wheras the Gold Backpack now grants players Deep Pockets which will let players stack upto 3 med kits/shield batteries and 2 phoenix kits.
