Apex Legends Season 14 launch trailer showed off new legend Vantage, her abilities, and also the changes to Kings Canyon.
Some of the abilities shown in the trailer mirror the leaked abilities that the community caught earlier.

Apex Legends players finally got to witness new legend Vantage perform in the Apex Games alongside Horizon and Fuse with the release of the Season 14: Hunted launch trailer. The three-minute video shows how Vantage gains the trust of her teammates, saves them, fights to save her mother, and emerges as the victor of her first-ever Apex Games. Additionally, players also noticed some of the major map changes coming their way in Season 14: Hunted.

Apex Legends wrote, “Vantage’s mother may have raised her to survive the wilds of Págos, but she never crossed paths with a Legend. With her squadmates' help, she’ll need to discover the will to survive.

Players get their first glimpse of Vantage’s abilities

After getting a grasp of the Apex Games, Vantage begins to power through and get advantages for her team with her abilities. Players noticed that some of the abilities were in line with the ones that got leaked earlier. At the start of the trailer, a confused Vantage gets saved by Horizon who stands up for her and says, “We’re a team. We look out for each other,” even when Fuse doubts Vantage and calls her a pup.

Using a sniper rifle, Vantage spots Bloodhound on the battlefield and makes the call to move to higher ground. During an intense battle against enemies, Vantage sends her winged companion Echo to a tower and jet-packs to it and saves her team from atop the tower. Following this, her teammates praise her and Horizon says, “I was supposed to look after you. Not the other way around.

Vantage’s In-Game Look Was Accidentally Leaked by Apex Legends Developers on 23rd July and it also revealed Apex Legends Season 14's name - Hunted

Her leaked abilities are as follows:

Passive: Sniper Kit – Tactical info available in ADS unarmed or any long-range scopes (Legend name, shield rarity, team size, and range).

Tactical: Echo Launch – Launch towards your winged companion, Echo. Order Echo by tapping Q. Launch to Echo by holding Q.

Ultimate: Mark to Kill – A custom rifle that scans enemies and boosts damage for Vantage and her squad. Damage doubles for Vantage on successive shots. The team gets a 15% bonus on marked targets.

Changes to POIs on Kings Canyon

Players also noticed that two Points of Interest (POIs) looked very different. The obvious one is that Salvage has been scrapped from Kings Canyon. In its place, there is a smaller Skull Town, which looks very different from what once was. From the video, one could say that there are walls surrounding this POI and it also features more rocks and trees. There are also fewer open areas as compared to the old Skull Town. The Cage in Kings Canyon has also gotten a makeover with the top part of it no longer walled off.

Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted goes live on 9th August and players will get to see all these exciting changes live on the client.
