Web-based word guessing game Wordle, created by software engineer Josh Wardle, created a ripple effect in the world and was extremely popular during the COVID-19 pandemic and the pandemic-induced lockdown. Since its publication, numerous people on the internet across the globe have been sharing and celebrating their everyday victories in the game. Apart from that, Wordle has become an inspiration and has led to the creation of many similar games.
One of the most popular spinoffs of Wordle is League of Legends-based LoLDle, where users have to guess one champion per day, and everyone around the globe has the same. It even has four different game modes. Likewise, Rankdle is another web-based game where users need to guess the actual ranks of the player(s) featured in the clip.
The best part about Rankdle is that different esports titles are featured in it. Here’s everything you need to know about Rankdle.
Esports Titles on Rankdle
The esports titles featured on Rankdle are as follows:
League of Legends
Valorant
Apex Legends
Rocket League
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Overwatch 2
Additionally, the game will soon be adding Rainbow Six Siege into the mix.
How Does Rankdle Work?
Players can participate daily in Rankdle games and choose one or many esports titles to play. You can either just do the Rankdle for one game or multiple titles as per your choice. The timer resets every day and a set of new clips is presented to you.
In Rankdle, you watch gameplay clips and guess the rank of the player featured in them. In one day, you will be guessing the rank of three clips.
Here’s how you get points:
There are six stars to collect for every esports title (two per clip)
You collect stars based on how close your guesses are.
If you are off by just one rank, you get one star
If you guess the correct rank, you get two stars
You can keep your daily streak alive only if you get at least 2 out of 6 stars.
Players can also choose to submit their clips to Rankdle by heading over to https://rankdle.com/submit and filling in the necessary details.
If you are a Dota 2 player and you want to guess the ranks of Dota 2 clips, you can check out Oracle’s Prophecy. This web browser game allows you to guess the rank of a random player after you are done watching a short clip.
