Here is when Valorant Maintenance will start and end for Patch 6.08.
Gekko, Killjoy and a few other agent changes are coming with this update.

Valorant is a live-service FPS shooter and like other online games, needs to be updated and patched routinely. This requires Riot Games to take the game down for a while for Valorant maintenance. If something breaks, Riot may take the game down unscheduled, but most Valorant maintenance is scheduled and the start and end are announced in the client as well as on social media. The numerous agents and maps are constantly being adjusted and tweaked to improve the player experience while new content is added to keep things fresh. The new patch 6.08 is due to go live in a day and here is when Valorant maintenance for the patch will start and end.

Valorant maintenance: Start and end time

The Valorant competitive queue will be disabled soon as the servers will be taken down for Riot to take patch 6.08 live. Here is the complete Valorant maintenance schedule including start and end times.

The competitive queue will be taken down soon for Valorant Maintenance to start.

Valorant maintenance for Episode 6 Act 3 will start on 25th April at 14:00 PDT (26th April 2:30 AM IST and 5:00 AM SGT) and end the same day. Unfortunately, you will not be able to play the game until the maintenance ends. If you try to enter the game, you’ll get Valorant Error 84 or 46.

What to expect in Valorant Patch 6.08?

Valorant Episode 6 Act 3 is set to release soon with Bind being brought back to the competitive queue, a brand new battle pass, some bug and quality of life fixes, and more.

In addition to this, the much-awaited arcade themed Radiant Entertainment System bundle will also be available in the store bringing some 80s and 90s gaming nostalgia into Valorant.

The patch will bring changes to Gekko, Killjoy and some visual updates to Brimstone and Omen's abilities. On the competitive front, Bind is being brought back into the competitive queue while Icebox is being phased out. Here are the notes for patch 6.08:

Gekko

Wingman

  • Audio improvements to Wingman’s (Q) plant and defuse audio.

  • The audio cues for Wingman's spike and defuse sound were unclear during hectic combat situations. This should help make those audio cues standout.

  • We’ve updated Gekko’s in-game portrait for better gameplay readability and quality consistency.

Killjoy

Nanoswarm (C)

  • Nanoswarm reveal radius increased 350 >> 525

  • Nanoswarm audio has been updated.

  • Audio loop now also turns off when disabled as a result of Killjoy being killed or suppressed.

  • Improved feedback for the enemy when they destroy Nanoswarm.

  • Nanoswarm is now revealed when it is disabled.

Other Abilities

  • Updated visuals for Killjoy’s ultimate Lockdown (X) being destroyed.

  • Removed the yellow warning UI Indicator for enemy Killjoy’s Lockdown (X).

  • Updated deactivate sounds for Killjoy’s Turret (E) and Alarmbot (Q) to make them more distinct.

Misc.

Brimstone's Sky Smoke (E), Orbital Strike (X), and Omen's From the Shadows (X) ability have updated targeting visuals to help players with precision placement on the map.

Map Updates

  • The newly updated Bind rotates into Competitive and Unrated queues.

  • Icebox rotates out of Competitive and Unrated queues.

Known Issues

  • Riot Games is aware of an issue modifying locale within the client. Locale updates will need to be performed through Riot Client (Riot Client settings).

  • In rare instances, audio cues are not playing for various sound effects. The developers are investigating at this time and will share as soon as they know more.
