The next season of Valorant, Episode 7 Act 1, is all set to go live on 27th June. Notably, the new Episode 7 is called Evolution. It is bringing many gameplay changes, along with a new battle pass consisting of new weapon skins, player cards, gun buddies, and other exciting items. Additionally, new agent Deadlock is also joining forces with our Sentinels to fight against foes. However, starting with this update, the way we recruit and unlock new agents will work differently. Additionally, players should also keep in mind that new patches are rolled out to different servers at different times.
In this article, we shall see when and what time Valorant Episode 7 and Deadlock are scheduled to release on India’s Mumbai server.
Valorant Mumbai Server: Episode 7, Deadlock Release Date and Time
The final act of Valorant's Episode 6 is coming to an end and if you are still on that ranked grindset, you only have a few hours to hit the rank you desire. Even the old battle pass will end and will be replaced by the Episode 7 one.
If you play on the Mumbai server in Valorant, you might have been confused as to where the new update is since Riot Games confirmed the date of release as 27th June. You should note that the patch will be rolled out globally, but there may be regional variations. As a result, the players on the Indian server will face downtime and the update roll out at a different time and date altogether.
For the Mumbai server, the patch 7 update is planned to begin on 28th June at 2:30 AM IST. The servers will be down for a few hours because of server maintenance and the update will be up around 6:30 AM IST for download.
The global release time, according to Riot Games, is 2 pm Pacific (Daylight) Time [PT]. Pacific Daylight Time is 12 hours and 30 minutes behind Indian Standard Time.
Another way to check how many hours are left till the new patch drops is to go to the battle pass page on the Valorant client. Here, on the top right, you will be told how many hours are left until the battle pass times out. This is the same time when the servers will be taken down for maintenance ahead of Valorant Episode 7.
Currently, at the time of writing on the Mumbai server, the battle pass timer says it ends in 11 hours.
Riot Games announced many new things for Valorant that are slated to be introduced to the game following the release of Episode 7 Act 1. Some of the updates lined up include new agent Deadlock, a new Team Deathmatch (TDM) mode, and other cosmetics through the brand-new Battle Pass.
One of the significant changes is Valorant's new progression system which is poised to bring better daily rewards, a new currency called Kingdom Credits, agent unlock events, an accessories store, and many other exciting things.
The first major skin line for Valorant Episode 7 is going to be Neo Frontier. It will be replacing the currently active NO LIMITS Bundle which went live on 15th July to celebrate the recently-concluded Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 Masters Tokyo.
