In Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 9 Runeterra Reforged, we constantly see a change in the meta. Players are constantly experimenting with builds and team compositions (comps) and one particular comp is ruling the roost in the Challenger tier in TFT ranked. Top players are running the Jinx reroll comp in high elo matches and it has gotten very famous and reliable to gain ranked points in the lower ranked tiers as well.
The reason why the Jinx reroll comp works is that Jinx is an underrated 2-cost carry and she has insane synergies with traits and items. Her ultimate gives gunner stacks whilst proc’ing Hurricane bolts - resulting in some crazy damage numbers. On top of this, when you add Zaun mods, especially Robotic Arm, you are guaranteed a free win.
Here’s how the Jinx reroll comp works in TFT Set 9 Runeterra Reforged.
TFT Set 9 Jinx Reroll: How to Play?
While on paper the Jinx reroll comp seems invincible, it does not work all the time. It is a hit or a miss and you need to make sure you at least tick two of the following three conditions to make it work:
A good Piltover start
Robotic Arm drops as the first Zaun mod
Hit Jinx 3 and Vi 3
If you are looking to force this comp, you can opt for Twisted Fate as your Legend of choice.
Players should also note that Augments are not too relevant for this comp. However, you can work with economy Augments so that you hit higher levels faster. If you have the option, you can go for Freljord, Gunner, or Bruiser Hearts. But keep in mind to avoid Zaun heart. If you choose the Zaun heart, you are probably losing the game.
The early champions you need to field in your board are Vi, Jayce, and Ekko to get the Gunner, Piltover, and Zaun traits going.
Your final comp with eight champions can look like this:

T-Hex
You can play around and pivot to whatever comp you like: Gunner, Bruiser, Freljord but Zaun is the weakest.
Items to prioritize for this comp:
Jinx: Runaan’s Hurricane, Guard Breaker, Giant Slayer, Hand of Justice
Vi: Tank items
Urgot items: Gunner Emblem/Bruiser/Tank items
Zeri items: AD+ Attack Speed items
Simply put, the way the Jinx reroll comp works is to roll for Jinx 3 and Vi 3 on Level 6. Slap on the Robotic Arm mod on Jinx with 1-2 Runaan’s Hurricanes.
