System Requirements for The Mageseeker: Can You Run It?

On 15th February, Riot Forge gave a sneak peek of what’s in store for 2023 by revealing three new games coming to both PC and console, based on the League of Legends universe. The three games that will release in 2023 under the Riot Forge label are Song of Nunu, Convergence, and The Mageseeker. The game features Demacian champion Sylas in a gritty 2D hi-bit pixel action RPG [role-playing game] where players will bring Demacia to its reckoning.

As per the lore, Demacia is a nation that uses mageseekers to search and hunt down mages to eliminate their abilities, imprison them, or turn them into mageseekers. 

The game’s description reads, “Play as Sylas, a mage now freed from years in captivity. Wield the chains that once bound you and liberate Demacia from the Mageseekers' tyranny.”

Notably, The Mageseeker is developed by Digital Sun, the studio behind Moonlighter. While the game and its deluxe version are available for pre-purchase on Steam, it will only officially release on 18th April 2023.  

The game does not require you to have a very strong PC setup and is not demanding. Here’s everything you need to know about the gameplay of The Mageseeker and the system requirements to run the game.

What are the gameplay opportunities in The Mageseeker?

As per the game’s description, players can do the following:

• Command the Magic: You can master a variety of spells and customize your unique play style. “Brandish your chains and use your enemies’ magic against them, or bash them with your fists–the choice is yours,” said the publisher.

• Raise a Rebellion: You are given the opportunity to find mages from across the land and recruit them for your cause. You can upgrade your base and unlock unique abilities. 

• Forge Your Legacy: You can battle enemies and join hands with allies and “only you can uncover the buried secrets of Demacia’s past, and use them to change the course of its future.”
