Street Fighter 6 Commentators: All You Need to Know
Along with a number of new features like the Drive Gauge, Street Fighter 6 is getting in-game announcers or commentators. These Japanese and English commentators are from the official Capcom Pro Tour as well as other renowned personalities. They will give you a play-by-play when you battle your opponent in-game, hyping up the matches and adding a bit of spice for spectators. There are a total of seven Street Fighter 6 commentators, three for English commentary and four for Japanese. Here is all you need to know about Street Fighter 6 commentators.

Steve "TastySteve" Scott
Steve "TastySteve" Scott is well known among fighting game enthusiasts. He is known for his commentary of top-tier tournaments like Capcom Cup IX, Tekken World Tour Finals 2022, Capcom Pro Tour and Ultimate Fighting Arena 2022. He has also provided commentary for other fighting game franchises like Tekken, Guilty Gear, and Dragon Ball FighterZ.
James "jchensor" Chen
James Chen began playing fighting games with the original release of Street Fighter II: World Warrior in 1991, and has played a key role in the fighting game community, writing guides, articles, game tutorials, and more. He has also provided commentary for EVO Series: Japan 2023, Capcom Cup IX and Intel PAX East 2023.
Thea Trinidad
One of the top female wrestlers in the world, Trinidad is a top tier commentator, and a fighting game fan. She brings her decade of pro wrestling experience to the world of Street Fighter.
Jeremy "Vicious" Lopez
An American commentator who has been active since 2015, Lopez turned his passion for the game into a career, currently hosting and doing commentary for Street Fighter League as well as the Capcom Pro Tour. Based out in Southern California, Vicious is an active streamer, commentator, and overall entertainer who always brings the energy to every event.

Ryutaro "Aru" Noda
An old-school Street Fighter player, Aru also has over 20 years of commentary experience and as an MC. Aru has been a commentator for a number of tournaments hosted in Japan including EVO Japan 2023. He currently works in Japan as an entertainer, appearing on TV shows, interviews, radio, and streams. He was one of the first commentators announced for Street Fighter 6 along with Vicious.
Kosuke Hiraiwa
An esports caster and former Asahi network announcer, Hiraiwa has covered first person shooter games like Apex Legends to card games as well as pro sports series like Koshien baseball . He was recently the Japanese caster for the Apex Legends Global Series: 2023 Split 2 Playoffs.
H.E. Demon Kakka
Demon Kakka is a Japanese musician, songwriter, sumo commentator and now color commentator for Street Fighter 6. He is a current member of Seikima-II, a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 1982. Demon is currently working on collaborative efforts related to traditional Japanese arts.
Hikaru Takahashi
Takahashi is an actress and model who won the 14th All Japan Beauty Contest Grand Prix and has appeared in NHK historical drama "Naotora: The Lady Warlord" and other shows. She also regularly appears in fashion magazines, radio shows and TV shows spanning a variety of genres. Takahashi will be providing color-commentary in Street Fighter 6.
