Shaking Up the Teller Quest in Escape From Tarkov Explained

A lot of changes have made their way into Escape from Tarkov after Battlestate Games released the 0.13 update on 28th December 2022. Players were treated to a surprise expansion in the Hideout where players could knock down the Defective Wall and build a gym to improve their physical strength in-game. With the new wipe, all progress and levels have been reset in the game and players are once again grinding through different quests to increase loyalty with traders and improve stats, among many other things. Shaking Up the Teller is one such quest in Escape From Tarkov given by trader Pavel Yegorovich Romanenko aka Prapor. Notably, Shaking up the Teller is a pick-up quest on Customs, the second location that was added to the game.

Shaking Up the Teller quest: How to finish

The quest requires you to go to the Customs dormitory area and obtain a valuable item from Room 203. The optional part of the quest is to gain entry into Room 214. Following this, you will have to safely survive the extract and hand over the valuable item to Prapor. For this task, you will need the dorm room 203’s key and this is incredibly easy to find. As a common key, it spawns in the pockets and bags of Scavs and jackets, and it also has a spawn location in dorm room 214. 

Once you have the key to room 203, you will have to go to Customs and locate the three-storeyed building and enter through the main door. After this, take the right after the first flight of stairs and you will notice a bed across the hallway. You will have to jump over the bed and go around the door that is propped open. Here, you will see the number 20 on the wall with the three fallen off. This is basically the room you need to enter and you can open the door with the key you already have.

Once you are inside dorm room 203, look under the bed to find a briefcase. You just need to pick up the case and later hand it over to Prapor to finish the Shaking Up the Teller quest. However, remember that you need to survive the extract and not die during the process since you will have to do it all over again.
