Peacekeeping Mission in Escape From Tarkov Explained

Peacekeeping Mission is a Quest in Escape from Tarkov that is given by trader Tadeusz Pilsudski, known by his alias "Peacekeeper.” This is a very unique quest given that happens across different locations in the game. Players are required to carry out tasks on Woods, Interchange, Shoreline, Customs, and the Streets of Tarkov map that was released by Battlestate Games in December 2022. Additionally, this Peacekeeping Mission is required for the Kappa Container in the game. Players should also note that this is an Elimination type of quest in Escape from Tarkov.

Peacekeeping Mission Guide

When you meet the Peacekeeper, he asks if you have seen the news and points out that the media have been pushing the agenda that 'the Blue Helmets are not doing their job in Tarkov, do not follow the procedures.' He adds, “I hate these journalist scumbags. We are one step away from losing financing, which, my friend, is the opposite of profitable for us. So, we need to convince the public that the helmets are actually doing what they promised to do. You must address the issue of eliminating the illegal bandit group activities but do so under the UN flag. I’ll give you the initial set of equipment you'll need, but if you lose it, don't come asking for more.”

The quest objectives are as follows:

• Eliminate 12 Scavs on Woods 

• Eliminate 12 Scavs on Customs 

• Eliminate 12 Scavs on Interchange

• Eliminate 12 Scavs on Shoreline

• Eliminate 12 Scavs on Streets of Tarkov

Note that you need to eliminate the Scavs in all the locations while wearing a UN uniform including the UN helmet, and MF-UNTAR body armor using the M4A1 rifle.

Additionally, you can mod the M4A1 and carry extra items to what is required. However, note that if you lose the initial set of gear, you will have to purchase all the gear from the Peacekeeper.

Rewards for Peacekeeping Mission

The rewards for eliminating all the Scavs on Woods, Customs, Interchange, Shoreline and Streets of Tarkov include:

• +25,500 EXP

• Peacekeeper Rep +0.04

• 1× Remington Model 700 7.62x51 bolt-action sniper rifle (variant AAC SD)

• 30× 7.62x51mm M61

• 2× GPNVG-18 Night Vision goggles

• Unlocks purchase of CQC Osprey MK4A plate carrier (Protection, MTP) at Peacekeeper LL4

Once you finish the Peacekeeping mission successfully, Peacekeeper says, “Ah, is that you? My superiors are pleased with the results! There are now fewer Scavs in the area, and attacks from the media died down a bit! Plus, we've made some nice photos for the newspapers. Good work, my friend!”
