If that doesn’t work, reset your network devices by shutting down your PC and then your modem and router for 60 seconds. Switch on your modem and wait for it to establish connection with your service provider, then reconnect your PC to the network.

Another option is to renew your IP and flush your DNS to resolve any network conflicts.

  1. Press Windows Key and type CMD.

  2. Right-click Command Prompt and run it as administrator.

  3. Type ipconfig /release press the Enter key

  4. After that runs, type ipconfig /renew in the command prompt and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

  5. Wait for a reply that says the IP address has been re-established.

  6. Type ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt and press the Enter key.

  7. Close the command prompt and get into the game again.

Check your network configuration by typing Firewall.cpl in Run on Windows. Disable any proxies that may interfere with the login module. Update or make exceptions for Overwatch in any security programs you’re using and finally try closing background applications to resolve any software conflicts. If none of this works, uninstall and reinstall the game. If reinstalling Overwatch fails, contact Blizzard support by clicking here.
