Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM Crossover Skins Revealed

The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM crossover event is all set to go live on 1st November. Fans already have an idea of what to expect with the group’s new music video out for “Perfect Night”. Now, players will also have a chance to get their hands on LE SSERAFIM Overwatch 2 crossover skins. Let’s look at which Overwatch 2 heroes are getting skins during the Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM crossover event.

Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM crossover skins revealed in music video

In the new music video released by the k-pop group, the Overwatch heroes getting skins during the crossover event were revealed. Tracer, D.Va, Brigette, Kiriko, and Sombra will be getting skins during the event.

Towards the end of the video, we get a photo montage of the heroes in their LE SSERAFIM skins. Since there are five characters getting skins, players will be able to have a full five-person team comp decked out with the skins. 

There is still no information about how much these skins will cost. However, Blizzard has said that the collab also will feature a LE SSERAFIM-inspired game mode and exclusive in-game items, including Legendary hero skins. The developers are expected to release more information about the same as the crossover event on 30th October. LE SSERAFIM will also make an appearance at BlizzCon on 4th November for a special performance, including their new single, Perfect Night, in the BlizzCon Arena following the conclusion of the Community Night. 

As reported by Forbes, Walter Kong, General Manager for Overwatch said, “We’re extremely excited to be working with Le Sserafim for our game’s first musical artist collaboration,” he added, “Like the heroes of Overwatch, the Le Sserafim members are amazing as individuals, but unstoppable when they come together.” In recent years, there have been multiple crossovers between the gaming and k-pop industry. Notable ones include the Blackpink X PUBG Mobile, TWICE and Genshin Impact collab and BTS and T1. Companies seem to want to replicate the runaway success of K/DA, Riot’s pioneer venture into the k-pop/music industry. 

Le Sserafim is a popular k-pop group currently consisting of five members; Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae. Le Sserafim debuted on 2nd May 2022, with the release of their first extended play, Fearless. The group has released other  hit songs like “Fearless” and “Antifragile”. Their debut album Unforvigen reached number six on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart earlier this year and they were featured on the Forbes' 30 Under 30 Asia 2023 list in the Entertainment & Sports category.
