Kind of Sabotage Quest in Escape From Tarkov Explained

The Kind of Sabotage quest in Escape from Tarkov is given by trader Alexander Fyodorovich Kiselyov also known by his alias "Skier." The quest takes place in Woods, the third location that was added to the game. Note that by completing the Supply Plans quest, you will fail and lose access to this pick-up task. Additionally, this quest is not required for securing the Kappa container in Escape from Tarkov. While finishing the Pharmacist quest will give you access to either the Kind of Sabotage quest or Supply Plans, finishing Kind of Sabotage will lead you to the Dangerous Road task in the game.

Kind of Sabotage Quest Guide

There is no big prerequisite for this quest apart from the fact that players need to avoid the Supply Plans quest. 

When you take up the Kind of Sabotage Quest, the trader says, “A little bird told me that you want to find some folder and pass it on to the medic girl. We have a business here, and I have my own interest in disrupting her operations, you know. A kind of sabotage, eh?”

Skier asks the player to bring this folder to him and promises to treat them right with cash and increased trust. “I’m opening branches here, building up the operation, and quality grub from those who’ve been preparing for all this crap in advance will sell like hotcakes through my channels. But I’m rambling, come on, go on your way, I'll be here packing your cash. Oh, and don't you be gullible to think that this woman is doing all this s*** for the good of the people, I'm familiar with her business,” he adds.

The one and only objective of this quest is to hand over Secure Folder 0052 to Skier.

For this quest, you need to head over to Woods and go to the Lumber Mill. Once there, you need to approach the North side which is the side that’s the closest to sniper mountain. On your right, you will see three small cabins. Enter the third cabin and look to the left for a bed. The Secure Folder 0052 will be just underneath the bed and the covers and all you have to do is pick it up. 

Note that dying with the item will mean that you will have to come back and do it all over again. Now, safely extract out of Woods and hand over the item to Skier.
