It feels like Santa is already here as Riot Games is giving away free goodies for Valorant players ahead of the festive season. The publisher released a small gift — a gun buddy — to Valorant players on 1st December. All Valorant players need to do is use a code to redeem this free gun buddy which was released as part of the ongoing Community Challenges in the game.

Seal of Approval Gun Buddy Redeem Code
On 1st December, Riot Games wrote on Twitter, "You sought approval, and you sure have earned it. The Seal of Approval Gun Buddy is now available!"
It also posted the redeem code for players to use on the Riot Games online shop and noted that players can redeem through 31st December 2023.

Head over to https://shop.riotgames.com/en-us/redeem/
You will see an 'Enter Code' screen
Here, ensure that you are logged in to your Valorant account. You should see your name on the top right.
When you are logged in, enter this code: CC-VLRNT-CCHAL-00001
The gun buddy should appear in your Valorant in-game collection.
Valorant Community Challenges 2023
As mentioned earlier, the Seal of Approval gun buddy is a reward for player completing a Community Challenge in Valorant.
To honor its community, Riot Games introduced Valorant Community Challenges, a door through which players can unlock a range of rewards for themselves and the community. They are different from the daily or weekly quests that individual players complete.
Riot Games stated that it will be issuing challenges over three weeks, focused on a handful of modes, playstyles, and general contributions to one's team’s success.
Upon completion of a certain task/challenge, "a code will be shared that you can redeem online for a few fun, end-of-year rewards," noted Riot.
The event began on 27th November 2023, with the commencement of the first week.
Week one [27th November till 4th December] objective's was as follows:
As a community, players should to play at least 555,555 matches of Team Deathmatch to complete the objective.
The reward for this was the 'Seal of Approval' gun buddy.
The next two weeks' challenges are as follows:
Week 2: 4th to 11th December: Contribute to 500,300,100 kills with Vandal or Phantom in any game mode.
Week 3: 11th to 15th December: Earn 300,000,000 assists in any game mode.
The reward for Week 2 Community Challenge will be Not a Peep Player Card, VERSUS // Deadlock + Gekko Player Cards. Meanwhile, for Week 3, players will get their hands on the Wingman Spray.
Players need to keep in mind that all reward codes will expire on 31st December 2023 at 11:59 PM PST, which translates to 1:29 PM IST (1st Jan 2024), 8:59 AM CET (1st Jan 2024), and 4:59 PM JST (1st Jan 2024), so make sure to use them and grab the free rewards before the new year.
