How to Get the Pocket Sage Gun Buddy in Valorant?

Riot Games and Xbox have joined forces to commemorate the addition of Riot Games' biggest titles to Xbox Game Pass. With the two gaming communities coming together, both Riot and Xbox have a lot in store for players. Notably, in a first for Game Pass, this partnership extends beyond PC to include Riot’s mobile-only and mobile-accessible titles. Players will be able to unlock premium Xbox Game Pass rewards and other member-only benefits across these games starting on 12th December and all you need is a Riot Account and a Game Pass membership. One of the free rewards is a Pocket Sage gun buddy in Valorant. 

The five Riot Games titles which will come to XBOX as part of Riot Games’ partnership are:

• Valorant

• League of Legends

• Teamfight Tactics

• Wild Rift

• Legends of Runeterra

All of these games have some sort of free reward, thanks to the Xbox partnership. Here’s how you can get your hands on a free Pocket Sage gun buddy in Valorant.

Get Pocket Sage gun buddy in-game free reward

In order to get the Pocket Sage gun buddy for free in Valorant, you will have to connect your Riot Games account to your Xbox account. Here’s how you can connect the two accounts: 

• Firstly, head to the Xbox Social Sign-In page and log in with your account.

• Here, you will be asked to share your profile information with Riot Games.

• Once you press yes, you will be redirected to the Riot Games Account Login page.

• Now, sign in with your Riot Games account to successfully connect it to your Xbox account.

Once you’ve linked your Xbox and Riot Games accounts, you will automatically receive the Pocket Sage gun buddy in Valorant. You can head over to the collections in-game and sort through the buddies you have and equip it to your favorite guns. 

However, it must be noted that the Pocket Sage gun buddy will be available only till 1st January 2023 and you will have to link and claim the buddy before that. Riot Games wrote, “For a limited time, players linking an Xbox profile to a Riot Account will also receive extra in-game rewards (available December 8, 2022 until January 1, 2023)”

Some of the other Valorant rewards for linking your Xbox and Riot Games accounts are as follows:

• All agents will be unlocked

• Access to new agents on the first day of their release

• 20% Match XP boost for faster Battle Pass completion. Notably, this boost will also be applicable for Event Pass and Agent Contract progression.

• Teamfight Tactics - Little Legend Rare Egg

• Wild Rift - Random Emote Chest

• Legends of Runeterra -  Prismatic Chest
