How to Get The Mageseeker-Themed Rewards for Free in League of Legends

Riot Forge, a publishing label within Riot Games, that works with outside developers and third-party studios, gave a sneak peek of what’s in store for 2023 by revealing three new games coming to both PC and console, based on the League of Legends universe. The Mageseeker is one of those three games and it was released on 18th April. It has already been received well by ardent League of Legends fans and newcomers unfamiliar with the League of Legends universe and lore. With Sylas being a League of Legends champion first and foremost, Riot Games has a unique gift in store for the MOBA players to celebrate the release of Mageseeker.

The publisher has added a new mission in-game titled ‘Mageseeker Mission’ and upon completing it, players are rewarded with several items honoring the new 2D hi-bit pixel action RPG [role-playing game]. 

Here’s all you need to know about The Mageseeker mission and rewards in League of Legends.

What is The Mageseeker Mission in League of Legends? 

To commemorate the release of Riot Forge and Digital Sun’s The Mageseeker, Riot Games has added a new mission to League of Legends.

The mission objective reads, “Play 1 Game with or against Sylas in celebration of The Mageseeker game release…”

The rewards for the mission are a ward skin and multiple icons representing characters from Mageseeker. Notably, these characters are League of Legends champions drawn in the style of the new RPG game. The rewards are as follows:

• Mysterious Garment Ward skin

• The Mageseeker icons for:

  • Lux

  • Garen

  • Jarvan IV

  • Morgana

  • Shyvana

Note that only matchmade PvP [player vs player] games count and this excludes Teamfight Tactics (TFT).

This mission ends on the first week of May, precisely in 11 days (On 2nd May). So players will have to play with, as, or against Sylas before that in an ARAM [All Random All Mid] or Summoner’s Rift game.

The Mageseeker Bundle in League of Legends

Currently, there are two bundles based on The Mageseeker in the League of Legends store. They are as follows:

1. Champions Bundle 

The Mageseeker Champions bundle features six champions and six skins in total:

• Sylas and Freljord Sylas

• Lux and Spellthief Lux

• Garen and Rugged Garen

• Morgana and Dawnbringer Morgana

• Jarvan IV and Dark Star Jarvan IV

• Shyvana and Ruined Shyvana

Sylas Border Bundle

The Sylas Border bundle is completely based on Sylas, who happens to be the main character of the RPG game by Digital Sun. Here are the contents of the bundle:

• Sylas champion

• Freljord Sylas

• The Mageseeker - Freljord Sylas border icon

• ‘All According to Plan’ emote

Both the bundles have discounts and the discount amount could vary from one player to another since it likely depends on the champions and skins you already own.
