Sprays in Valorant let you tell what you are feeling in-game without actually having to type it out in chat. They are very creative and some of them are animated as well. You can choose three sprays that you want to have when you load into a game, and they can be agent-specific or simply convey different emotions. Riot Games has taken the Valorant community by surprise by announcing yet another spray that you can sport in-game. This latest spray – the Doomscrolling Spray – features Valorant agent Fade and is a funny one. The Doomscrolling Spray is distributed in partnership with Amazon’s Prime Gaming. Here’s how you can claim the free buddy with Prime Gaming this month.
Doomscrolling Spray: How to Claim in Valorant?
On 21st February, Riot Games wrote, “Ughhh… show the world how you’re feeling with the ‘Doomscrolling Spray.’ Available exclusively through Prime Gaming.” To those of you who don’t know what doomscrolling is, it is a phenomenon when someone spends an awful lot of time looking at their phone or computer reading bad or negative news stories. It is also used to refer to people who keep refreshing and scrolling endlessly on social media sites like Twitter and Instagram.
The Doomscrolling Spray in Valorant features a very disheveled Fade looking at the monitor with baggy eye pockets while scrolling on her mouse. Riot Games described the spray, “Are the vibes off? Let everyone know with the Doomscrolling Spray.”
Here’s how you claim the Doomscrolling spray:
The first step is to go to the Prime Gaming website and sign in with your Riot Games account.
Here, you will see an “in-game content” tab.
Click on the ‘Claim Now’ for Valorant to get the spray in your inventory
Now, you should be able to see the Doomscrolling spray in your collection tab in Valorant
Users can claim the Doomscrolling Spray this month and this offer ends on 23rd March.
However, if you do not currently have a subscription, you will have to subscribe for either the 30-day free trial or a one-month subscription for Prime Gaming. Following this, you can log in with your Riot account and link the two accounts to receive rewards.
Valorant was released in 2020 and since then, the game has constantly catered to its player base, releasing an array of agents, in-game sprays, gun cosmetics, player cards, and gun buddies. Sprays are cosmetic images in the game that can be used on any map surface. You can equip three sprays: one for pre-round, one for during a round, and one for post-round. However, some sprays that have additional animations or sound effects are deemed too distracting and cannot be used during a round.
Valorant sprays are mostly unlocked by completing agent contracts, from Battle Passes, or by purchasing from bundles. Riot Games also releases sprays and other cosmetics exclusively in collaboration with Amazon Prime Gaming.
