How to Get Free Overwatch 2 Skins, Rewards during OWL 2022 Playoffs & Finals

There is great news for Overwatch 2 players as they can get their hands on a bunch of free in-game skins and other rewards during the Overwatch League (OWL) Playoffs and Finals. Blizzard Entertainment announced that fans who tune into the last few days of the 2022 Overwatch League season between 30th October and 4th November will be eligible for “postseason perks,” which include skins, name cards, emotes, and icons. The Overwatch League season is in its fifth season in 2022 and is played on an early build of Overwatch 2, whereas the previous four seasons were played out on the original title.

Blizzard said, “Fans who have linked their Battle.net accounts can enjoy matches and earn in-game perks throughout the entire week of Playoffs and Grand Finals,” in its recent blog post.

OWL 2022 Playoffs: All we know

The following is the format for OWL 2022 Playoffs which is scheduled to kick off on 30th October and conclude on 4th November: 

• The top six teams in the West and three in the East automatically qualify for Playoffs.

• Two teams in the West and one in the East qualify for Playoffs through Countdown Cup, a tournament that functions as the play-ins for the 2022 Overwatch League Playoffs

• The twelve playoff teams are seeded in a double-elimination bracket

• Seeds 1-4 select their second-round opponents.

• Kiriko is available for play.

Claiming Overwatch 2 free rewards

Firstly, in order to earn these rewards, users must ensure that their Battle.net and YouTube accounts are connected. If you have not linked them yet, you can follow the steps mentioned below: 

• Go to YouTube settings 

• Navigate to Connected Accounts

• Highlight and select Battle.net account

• Click Allow

• Go to the Overwatch official YouTube channel and watch live 

The OWL 2022 perks according to Blizzard are:

• Earn five League Tokens per hour for every hour watched.

• Earn three Overwatch League home and away skins for every three hours watched, up to 30 hours. Earnable skins include the newest Overwatch 2 heroes: Sojourn, Junker Queen, and Kiriko

• Additionally, custom community-designed Overwatch 2 cosmetics will be dropped after specific viewership milestones
