How to Execute Jett and Deadlock Flying Boost Combo in Valorant
It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Jett?!
Valorant's newest agent Deadlock has a long list of balance changes that have been voiced by the community. Leading the list is her ultimate, Annihilation (X), which is really overpowered in its current state.
However, this perception might change slightly with another ability entering the chat as a contender, Barrier Mesh (E), Deadlock's signature move which generates a barrier from its point of origin, blocking all movement.
Alone, the ability is not too lethal and does its intended job of stopping a rush or plugging a choke point, but combined with the movement mayhem that Jett has at her disposal, its lethality increases multifold.
Here is how the Jett-Deadlock flying boost combination works and how you can execute it in a Valorant match.
How to Use the Jett and Deadlock Flying Boost Combination in Valorant
It does take a bit of skill and some amount of practice to pull off this flying boost combination using Jett and Deadlock, which is unlike anything that you have seen in Valorant and is sure to catch the opposition by surprise.
Of course, you use it too often and the element of surprise goes away, but you play smart enough and it is sure to hand you multiple clutch wins.
A few things to keep in mind, one player needs to pick Jett and the other Deadlock. The map on which it works is Split, and lastly you need to be playing defense to do it comfortably but it is also possible when attacking.
First, Deadlock needs to stand in 'A Back' and lineup her cursor as shown in the video above.
After the round begins, she can equip and hurl the Barrier Mesh (E) in the corner where it will activate high above the ground.
Meanwhile, Jett needs to go and stand at 'A Rafters' and patiently wait for the barrier to activate.
Now, Jett will first use 'Tailwind' to dash towards 'A Back' and quickly follow it up with an 'Updraft' gliding towards the barrier using her passive 'Drift'.
As soon as Jett starts losing her altitude, the second 'Updraft' needs to be used and she should be tucked right in the corner.
Instead of falling down, Jett will simply stand on top of the Barrier and from this elevated off angle she will be able to easily take down the enemy players.
This is how the flying boost can be executed in Valorant using the broken Deadlock and movement specialist Jett. To utilize this to its maximum effect, it can be used when both agents have their ultimates online, if a dire clutch is required, or to close out a map.
