Highlights
Valorant released the first update of Episode 7 Act 1 on 11th July and is already gearing for another patch.
The PBE for the Valorant Patch 7.02 is currently live and players are busy testing out the new features.
Here is everything you need to know about the Valorant Patch 7.02.

Valorant released its first update of Episode 7 Act 1 earlier this week on 11th July. It did not contain a whole lot of changes with the highlight being Premier Ignition League, which starts next week onwards.

There were no Agent balances, not even for the newly released Deadlock which clearly suffers from a broken ultimate that is a terror to play against. Now, many are speculating that these changes might be included in the upcoming Valorant Patch 7.02.

Already some upcoming changes have been leaked while a few others are being widely speculated across the community. Here is everything we know so far about the next update, including information about its test server.

Valorant Patch 7.02: Everything We Know Till Now

Before any update goes live Valorant hosts a test server for certain players, who try out all the new features and changes that have been implemented in the game. Through this process, the developers are able to weed out bugs and it helps them release a much more stable version of the update.

All this is done on the Public Beta Environment (PBE), which is Valorant's official name given to their test servers and players belonging to the North American region can simply apply for it, if interested.

Valorant Patch 7.02: PBE Release Date

The PBE for the Valorant Patch 7.02 was officially released on 14th July and will continue to run till 17th July, 11:00 PDT (Pacific Time Zone).

This is inline with the PBE schedule that had been leaked by various Valorant data miners, giving players the default three days time to try out all the changes.

Valorant Patch 7.02: Expected Updates

For the previous update, Valorant had not bothered hosting a PBE and it was understandable as there were no major changes introduced to the game except for the Premier Ignition Stage.

However, a slew of much more important changes are expected to be introduced along with Valorant Patch 7.02 including some Agent balances, most likely to cover Deadlock and its ultimate which does need a serious nerf.

Along with this, the Neo Frontier Skinline which released on 30th June might finally roll out of the shop after being around for more than two weeks and could likely be replaced by the Karma Give Back Bundle 2023.

Another leak that has surfaced is the introduction of upgraded sound-generation engine which covers all types of sounds in Valorant like voiceovers, announcements, pings, bullets, abilities, weapon skins, and more.

Valorant Patch 7.02: Expected Update

Also, more information related to an 'Esports Hub' within Valorant has been added to the game along with this update.

Valorant Patch 7.02: Release Date

While there is no official announcement about when this update might go live, it is expected to release on 18th July, Tuesday, around 02:00 PM PT (Pacific Time Zone), 9:00 AM ET (Eastern Time), 02:00 PM GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), 2:30 AM IST (Indian Standard Time).

The date and time could vary a bit for some of the regions based on where it is. Also, when the update is rolled out the game servers will likely go down for maintenance. During this time matchmaking will not be available and no players will be able to search for a game.

Here is everything we know about the upcoming Valorant Patch 7.02 which is not too far along from its official release. The community is looking forward to seeing what all comes their way and hope that Deadlock changes are a part of it.
