Riot Games does not offer an official way to check your in-game playtime whenever you want.
Players have to rely on third party services to find out how many hours they have sunk into the game.
If you want to check your playtime in Valorant, websites like tracker.gg are your best bet.

Unlike other platforms like Steam and Origin, Riot Games keeps your playtime private, even from you. It can be difficult to tell how much time you’ve sunk into Riot’s popular shooter and unless you have been keeping track of your playtime every single day, there are not too many ways to find out your stats. If you want to check your playtime in Valorant and also look at some of your profile stats, here’s a quick guide to help you find out how many hours you’ve poured into the game.

How to check your Valorant playtime

There is no official way to check your playtime in Valorant. Neither the Riot Games client nor the game provides playtime stats of players. However, there are third-party services that can pull your information from Riot Games’ API (application programming interface).

Websites like tracker.gg can help you track your playtime and view your match history with detailed infographics. Tracker.gg has been around for years and it is one of the most popular websites for League of Legends match tracking. The service is available for Valorant as well and you can get access to in-depth statistics for your matches.

  1. Create an account at tracker.gg OR you can directly login if you use tracker.gg for other Riot Games titles

  2. Choose Valorant as your preferred game at the top the site

  3. Click on the red icon that displays your Valorant ID

  4. The website will now display your statistics including your playtime

The playtime on the website is not accurate as it also includes the amount of time you spend in the menus as well as queue times. Until Riot Games implements playtime tracking within Valorant, tracker websites are your only option.

If you do not want to share your Riot Games data with third-party websites, there are yearly stat emails that are sent to players showcasing your stats. The publisher has sent out yearly stats for its first anniversary as well as its annual “Year in Review” emails, both of which let you know some interesting information about your account.

If you want to receive the next set of emails when they are sent out, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Head to https://account.riotgames.com/

  2. Click on Communication Preferences

  3. Check the ‘Communication from Riot Games’ box

With Valorant’s anniversary (2nd June) coming up in two months, Riot is likely to send out individual player stats in May.
