Various Rocket League tournaments happen across different regions each week.
Players should try and participate in tournaments with a region selected closest to them.

Competitive Rocket League Tournaments offer a challenging way to test your skills against other players at a similar skill level. Rocket League has online servers all around the world and players can constantly participate in tournaments that happen regularly. When playing Rocket League, it’s best to choose the tournament region closest to you. Choosing regions farther away from you may result in lag and packet loss. A good way of choosing the region closest to you would be selecting from the ‘Recommended’ options. These are generally the ones with the best connectivity. In this article, we’ll see how you can change tournament region in Rocket League.

3. Select the Tournament Schedule Region dropdown box.

Players can change tournament region in Rocket League through the Options menu.

4. Select your region.

Note that this setting can only be changed once every 24 hours.

Competitive Rocket League Tournaments

Competitive Tournaments is a Ranked mode that pits you against teams of similar skill to earn rewards. Players can join every scheduled Tournament each week. There's no limit to how many Tournaments you may join and registration is free. Competitive Tournaments are 32-team, single-elimination brackets based on each team's skill. Teams play one match each round until the Semifinals and Finals, which are best of three. Teams that lose the first round (or show up after the Tournament start time) can join a Second Chance bracket for another try at victory.

Competitive Tournaments come in 2v2, 3v3 formats and support both party and solo players. For players with different ranks in a party, the highest skilled player is considered for matchmaking. For example, if two Platinum II players team up with a Diamond I player, that team will be entered into a Diamond Tournament.

1. Open Rocket League.

2. Select Play from the Main Menu.

3. Select Tournaments.

Navigate to 'Play' and select 'Tournaments'.

4. Select your Play Window.

Select which tournament you want to participate in.
