Ever since the update that dropped on 28th December 2022, players have been grinding through quests and upgrading their Hideouts in Escape from Tarkov as they started afresh with the new wipe. Gratitude is a quest in Escape From Tarkov which asks you to stash different items at a particular spot. Notably, the quest is given by trader Arshavir Sarkisovich Abramyan aka Ragman. To complete the Gratitude quest, you will have to go to Woods, the third location that was added to Escape from Tarkov.

Here’s all you need to know about the Gratitude quest and how to complete it.

Gratitude Quest: Objectives, Guide and Rewards

The opening dialogue by Ragman for the Gratitude quest is as follows:

Salam. Listen, I’d like to send a care package to one dude. Get him fitted with some stuff, just so he knows that Arshavir remembers. He is not the military, just a regular dude, but he loves to dress up like he's in the Matrix sometimes. Or as that hairy-chested spy, Austin or whatever, the dude in glasses. Leave the package at the pier in the Woods, he will pick it up, I’ll let him know. Just hide it someplace between the barrels, so that nobody sees it. Here's the list of what to stash, come back when you're done. Oh, the shemagh must be the green one, by the way!”

Following this, you will go to Woods, which is the Priozersky Natural Reserve that turned into part of the state-protected wildlife reserves of the North Western Federal District in Escape from Tarkov. Notably, this location features a moderately sized section of woods with some open fields, mounds, a logging camp, and ZB-014 and ZB-016 bunkers. You will have to be extremely careful of Border Snipers and minefields.

For this quest, you will have to stash the following items in specific locations:

  • Ghost balaclava

  • Shemagh (Green)

  • RayBench Hipster Reserve sunglasses

  • Round frame sunglasses

For the sunglasses, you can get them off of Scavs or buy them directly from the Flea market. However, they might turn pricey if a lot of people are trying to finish the Gratitude quest. To get your hands on the Ghost balaclava, you will need to be Ragman Level 4 and for the Shemagh (Green), you need to be Ragman Level 3 to purchase them.

To complete the Gratitude quest, you will have to head over to the Docks on Woods. Note that your character will start just to the left of Warehouse #1. Players should also be aware that they will be having a 20-second timer for every item that they plant.

Firstly, as you spawn near Warehouse #1, you will have to head over toward the water with the Dock to your left and go to the Pier where you will find the barrels. Your "use" key must be held down to place each item and this will leave you very exposed. So, carry minimal gear and keep the items in your secure container.

Place the Ghost Balaclava first in between the barrels, followed by Shemagh (Green), the RayBench Hipster Reserve Sunglasses, and the Round frame sunglasses at the end.

The following are the rewards for the Gratitude Quest in Escape from Tarkov:

  • +14,400 EXP

  • Ragman Rep +0.03

  • 120,000 Roubles (Without an Intelligence Centre)

  • 126,000 Roubles (With Intelligence Center Level 1)

  • 138,000 Roubles (With Intelligence Center Level 2)

  • 2x Armband (White)

  • 2x Armband (Yellow)

  • 2x Armband (Green)

  • 2x Armband (Red)

  • 2x Armband (Blue)

  • 4x MIL-TEC boonie hat
