Best BAS-P Loadout in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

The BAS-P is a weapon featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) and is one of the submachine guns (SMGs) available in the game. SMGs are some of the most powerful close-range weapon classes and are known for their incredible rate of fire, impeccable hip-fire accuracy, and for being lightweight. As a result, this enables greater player movement speed, and SMGs come in handy during close-range combat encounters. The BAS-P was added to the game as part of the free content included in Season 1 Reloaded. Notably, the design of the BAS-P is based on the real-life gun SIG MPX and a part of the Bruen Ops Weapon Platform.

What attachments do you use on the BAS-P in Modern Warfare 2?

Despite its size, the BAS-P is still very powerful in Modern Warfare 2. Here are the best attachments that you can run on the gun:

• Barrel: 10.5" Bruen Typhon/12” Bruen SZ-36

• Stock: BR Stockless Mod

• Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90

• Magazine: 50 Round Drum

• Rear Grip: D37 Grip

• Laser: VLK LZR 7MW

Barrel: 12” Bruen SZ-36 or the 10.5” Bruen Typhon

The 12" Bruen SZ-36 is a weapons platform-specific attachment. Some of its pros are its hip fire accuracy, recoil control, damage range, and bullet velocity. Meanwhile, its cons are its reduced Aim Down Sight (ADS) speed, hip recoil control, and movement speed.

If you’re not a fan of the 12” Bruen SZ-36, you can choose to go for the 10.5" Bruen Typhon, which has a built-in suppressor. This will ensure smooth recoil and also increase bullet velocity and damage range. You can unlock this attachment by leveling up the BAS-P to level 23 in MW2. 

Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90

The FSS Sharkfin 90 is a universal attachment and can be used across all weapons platforms in the game. This underbarrel increases the accuracy of the SMG and you can unlock it in the game by leveling up the M4 to level 6.

Magazine: 50 Round Mag

Players should note that the BAS-P can burn through ammo reserves in a hot minute because of its high fire rate. The 50 Round Mag will keep you stocked up and ready for any fight and you will not have to worry about ammo. 

Laser: VLK LZR 7MW

The VLK LZR 7MW laser will help you with ADS speed and also enhance BAS-P’s sprint-to-fire speed. However, you should be aware that this laser will be visible in red to enemies. It can be unlocked by taking the STB 556 assault rifle to level 5.

For stock, you can run the BR Stockless Mod on the gun, and for the grip, you can choose the D37 Grip. The D37 Grip will give you recoil control and can be unlocked by leveling the BAS-P to level 12.
