Apex Legends Season 18 Death Dynasty Collection Event: Date, Heirloom, Skins & More

Season 18 of Apex Legends titled Resurrection will be arriving in the game servers on 8th August and with it, it brings forth an exciting Collection Event. Titled the Death Dynasty Collection Event, this in-game celebration will introduce new content to Apex Legends including Revenant’s second Heirloom, a Double XP bonanza, and an array of new cosmetics. As part of the Death Dynasty Collection Event, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts (EA) will be featuring 24 limited-time cosmetics which include Legendary skins for Catalyst, Loba, and more!

Death Dynasty Collection Event: All You Need to Know

Respawn Entertainment wrote, "Death becomes you, Legends. Our first event of Resurrection will be launching with the season, and you’ll be handsomely rewarded with double XP in Battle Royale from August 8-15 and then in Mixtape from August 15-22."

As part of this event, players will receive Double XP in Battle Royale games between 8th and 15th August and Double XP in Mixtape from 15th to 22nd August.

There are 24 limited-time cosmetics available during the Death Dynasty Collection Event. These cosmetics will be available in exchange for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals and in Death Dynasty Event Apex Packs for the entire duration of the event.

Death Dynasty Reward Tracker System

To further engage and treat players, this upcoming event features a Reward Tracker system. Players can earn up to 1,600 points per day with challenges refreshing daily. All challenges will stack with your Battle Pass so you can complete multiple challenges at once. Upon completing additional goals, you can unlock three unique event badges. Likewise, completing all three will earn you a final fourth badge.

• 750 Points: Nessie "What's Your Name?'" Holospray

• 1500 Points: "Face Your Demons" Holospray

• 2000 Points: Weapon Charm

• 4000 Points: Rampage Weapon Skin

• 5000 Points: Caustic Skin

Revenant Reborn Heirloom Death Grip: How to Unlock

The new Revenant Reborn heirloom is called “Death Grip” and is also a scythe and basically a recolor of the old one. The Death Grip can be unlocked automatically during the Death Dynasty Collection Event by completing the collection of all 24 event items.

Notably, the Season 18 Collection Event for Apex Legends will launch on 8th August with the new season at around 10 am PT/ 1 pm ET/ 6 pm BST. The event is scheduled to last two weeks, ending on 22nd August.
