Mason gets unbanned five hours after his fifth Twitch ban

Mason informed his viewers about his Twitch ban on Twitter. "Spitting when people type ‘greetings from ____’ is a joke”, he explained, clarifying that he had been doing it for months and it had never been targeted at anyone in particular. He also added that he would appeal this ban.

StreamerBans, at the same time, also reported that Mason had been banned from Twitch for the fifth time.

Five hours later, mason reported via his Twitter handle that he had been unbanned and that he would probably return to streaming the next day.

Mason has previously been involved in some eccentric acts on livestreams. He had thrown a glass piece at his monitor in a fit of rage during a pub game in April 2021, which broke it.

Additionally, during an NA Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) series, Mason had made a bet on whether or not Evil Geniuses would pick Nyx Assassin in the third game against Quincy Crew. If they did, he said he would eat a $1 USD bill live on stream. Mason tore the note into pieces and ate it after EG picked Nyx Assassin in the first phase.

This is not the first time Mason was Banned on Twitch

Mason has been banned five times since StreamerBans began tracking his channel in July 2019. The first time was on May 7th, 2020, the second on Jul 29th, 2020, the third on Jan 3rd, 2021, the fourth on Apr 13th, 2021, and the fifth on Aug 3rd, 2021. All of his bans have been temporary and only lasted for seven days or less.
