TSM’s offlaner Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek is off to a great start in 2022. After getting signed by the North American organization TSM a few days ago, he has now reached the personal milestone of 12K MMR. SabeRLight- shared his achievement via a tweet on 9th Feb, attaching a screenshot of his in-game MMR reading 12,010. His name now joins a limited list of Dota 2 players who have reached this milestone in the past. SabeRLight- will soon be playing for TSM in the North American Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 Regional Finals.
SabeRLight- touches the 12K MMR milestone
“12 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 MMR. I would like to thank @God for making me so goddamn good,” SabeRLight- expressed his joy on Twitter
SabeRLight- also thanked his TSM teammate Kim "DuBu" Doo-young and Team Secret's Clement "Puppey" Ivanov for helping him win the pub game which led his MMR to surpass 12,000 points.
The Dota 2 Pro Tracker indicates that SabeRLight- has had a tremendous week when it comes to pub matches. Over the last eight days, he has played 95 matches and won 59 of them, giving him a gain of nearly 700 MMR. He played mostly as the offlaner, with most of his games played on Mars or Dark Seer.
Having reached 11K MMR back in January 2021, it took SabeRLight- about a year to reach this milestone.
Thus, he joins some of the most prolific Dota 2 players who have reached this level in the past. This elite circle bears mostly core players. Some of the notable names include Quinn "Quinn" Callahan, Danil "gpk" Skutin, Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang, and Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon. 23savage was the first player to hit 12k MMR back in March 2021.
At the time of writing this article, SabeRLight- is at the top of the European MMR Leaderboards followed by Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko and Martin "Saksa" Sazdov.
When SabeRLight- returns to competitive action in the Regional Finals against Evil Geniuses on 18th Feb, he will be looking to carry his pub heroics into pro Dota 2. This will also mark the team's first series since it signed with TSM on 26th Jan. Quincy Crew and 4 Zoomers will also be competing in the NA Regional Finals. $100,000 USD and 380 DPC points will be on the line in the event.
