TI10 Grand Finals to Be Screened at a Movie Theater in India

NODWIN Gaming, a South Asian esports company, will host the grand final of Dota 2’s The International 10 (TI10) at the PVR movie theatre in the MGF Metropolitan Mall in Gurgaon, India.
The grand final of TI10 is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM IST on 17th Oct 2021, however, the entry into the theater will begin at 3:15 PM.

NODWIN Gaming, a South Asian esports company, will host the grand final of Dota 2’s The International 10 (TI10) at the PVR movie theatre in the MGF Metropolitan Mall in Gurgaon, India. The grand final of TI10 is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM IST on 17th Oct 2021, however, the entry into the theater will begin at 3:15 PM. Tickets for the grand final cost INR 450 per person.

There will be two teams competing for the biggest chunk of the $40,018,195 USD prize pool at TI10’s grand final. The tournament is being held at the Arena Nationala Stadium in Bucharest, Romania.

PVR MGF in India will screen the TI10 grand final

A total of 300 tickets will be available for the TI10 grand final at the PVR at MGF Metropolitan Mall. There will be a BO5 final. PSG.LGD is the first grand finalist for TI10, and the second finalist will be decided among Team Secret, Team Spirit, and Invictus Gaming.

TI10 began on 7th Oct 2021 and will culminate in the grand final on 17th Oct. A total of 18 teams from around the globe competed in the event, but only one will take home the Aegis of the Champions. TI10's winner will take home $18,208,300 USD as prize money.

Recently, NODWIN Gaming and Indian cinema exhibition company, PVR cinemas, announced plans to broadcast esports tournaments from movie theaters. Akshat Rathee, MD & Co-Founder of NODWIN Gaming told AFK Gaming that this partnership connects with the "change in choices of youth in India" and it taps into their interests.

The organization had stated it aimed to hold Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) events, but more games would be added as time goes on. The project is in its developmental stages and the organization intends to make decisions regarding it in the future based on the response and the needs of the audience.
