After the departure of three star players from Azure Ray (AR) to Xtreme Gaming, the former has been on the hunt for replacements. Lin "planet" Hao, currently on the inactive roster of LGD Gaming, recently announced that he won't be joining Azure Ray as their new position four support.
He disclosed that Azure Ray has already secured a new position four support and an offlaner. Planet hinted that Azure Ray's new mid-laner is a streamer, but he withheld the name. This was brought to light on Twitter by “CN Dota In A Nutshell.”
Planet Confirms That He Didn't Join AR
Following the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 event, Azure Ray lost three players to Xtreme Gaming, leaving the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Champions short of a midlaner, offlaner, and position four support for the upcoming season.

Many expected Planet to be joining the team as its Pos 4 player. But he denied these claims by confirming that he didn't join AR.
Fy and Faith_bian Could Join Azure Ry
According to the Twitter page “CN Dota In a Nutshell,” Planet also reportedly said “I didn’t join AR [Azure Ray], they found someone else to be their new Pos 4, and I think it probably will be fy [Xu "fy" Linsen]. To be honest, if they can get fy in the team then of course they won’t ask me to join them.” Notably, fy last played for Azure Ray and left the team after The Interntional 2023.
He further mentioned that the team's current midlaner is a streamer, sparking speculation about the potential return of either Lu "Somnus" Yao or Zhang "Paparazi" Chengjun. However, Paparazi has already dismissed these rumors, denying any possibility of his comeback.
Planet also mentioned that Nicholas "zeal" Lim, formerly of Invictus Gaming, suggested that the new offlaner for Azure Ray could be Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida.
If these rumors hold true, Faith_bian would be coming out of retirement to join Azure Ray.
Additionally, Planet shared unconfirmed rumors about Azure Ray’s base relocating outside of China but was uncertain of the authenticity of it.
