Tundra Esports was spotted playing with Pure at the DreamLeague Season 22 WEU Open qualifiers
With Pure's participating alongside Tundra Esports, it is only fitting to expect an official announcement soon.

Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko, who was placed on the inactive roster of BetBoom Team last month, has been the talk of the town after rumors speculated that he could be Tundra Esports’ final player. Confirming these speculations, Tundra Esports was spotted playing with Pure as its carry during the DreamLeague Season 22: Western Europe (WEU) Open Qualifier #1.

Although there has been no official announcement from the player or the organization regarding this development, Pure’s participation in the DreamLeague Season 22 WEU open qualifier has pretty much confirmed the rumors. Interestingly, during an earlier Twitch stream, the Russian player leaked that he was no longer playing in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) region.

Pure’s Participation in DreamLeague Season 22 With Tundra Esports

On 9th January, Pure was seen playing with Tundra Esports as its carry during the DreamLeague Season 22: Western Europe Open Qualifier #1. Tundra Esports was invited to take part in the DreamLeague Season 22 WEU qualifier and it won against Flawless and 5STARS Esports to secure its spot in the semifinals. It is gearing up to take on Nightshade Esports on 10th January in the semis. Notably, only two teams from the open qualifier will qualify to the closed qualifier.

The Tundra Esports’ roster that is currently participating in DreamLeague Season 22 is as follows:

  • Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko

  • Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen

  • Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov

  • Edgar "9Class" Naltakian

  • Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon

Pure Leaks That He Is No Longer Playing in CIS

Interestingly, during one of his Twitch streams just ahead of the DreamLeague Season 22 qualifier, Pure let it slip that he was no longer playing in the CIS region. He revealed this information while talking about the top carries from CIS.

According to the transcript and translation provided by cybersport.ru, Pure said, “The strongest CIS players, who? Name the strongest CIS players except Team Spirit. Antokha dyrachyo is on the spot. Then me, of course. Well, I'm like, no longer CIS, of course, oh, [damn].”

He then went on to add Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev and Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov to his list of strong CIS players.

According to an earlier tweet from Tundra Esports, the organization confirmed its participation at the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024: WEU Closed Qualifier scheduled on 11th January 2024. As a result, fans can expect an official confirmation about Pure as Tundra's carry player shortly. The team's first series in the qualifier will be against OG. Notably, only one qualifier slot is up for grabs for the Western European region in the event.
