Highlights
OG proved to be the superior team in the series against Nigma Galaxy in DPC 2021-22, picking up a 2-0 win. This was OG's second win in three series.
Nigma Galaxy's midlaner Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi's return did not do much to boost their performance. Having now lost three series in a row, the team continues to look rather unimpressive in the DPC.
OG’s next series in the DPC WEU 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1 will be against COOLGUYS on 21st Dec 2021 while Nigma Galaxy plays Team Secret on 18th Dec 2021.

OG vs Nigma Galaxy has always been a classic matchup, with both sides showcasing aggressive, high-octane action, but this was not the case when they met in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1. With a 2-0 win, OG proved to be the superior team, outplaying its counterparts in all departments of the game. On the other hand, it seemed as though Nigma Galaxy's midlaner Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi's return did not do much to boost their performance. Having now lost three series in a row, the team continues to look rather unimpressive in the DPC.

OG vs Nigma Galaxy: Match Recap and Highlights

Recap

In game 1, OG continuously outperformed its opponents. All of OG's cores were ahead of their counterparts, making much better moves, and as a group, the young squad played the teamfights perfectly. Despite trying to exert some pressure, Nigma Galaxy was often countered, leading to its own deaths. Nigma Galaxy lost the game in 41 minutes, with only 13 kills to its opponent's 44.

In game 2, OG outdrafted Nigma Galaxy, choosing several counters. OG had a Razor for iLTW’s Luna, a Kunkka for GH’s Io, and a Nyx Assassin for Miracle-’s Storm Spirit. Even in the actual gameplay, OG performed brilliantly, using its heroes' spells to great effect. Once again, Nigma Galaxy tried its best to stand and fight, but it lost heroes every time and eventually the game in 31 minutes.

Highlights

Here are some highlights of the series.

OG's play was simply stronger both individually and as a team in this series. The interesting thing was that Miracle- who usually does well in mid matchups was given a tough fight by Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov, OG's 16-year-old midlaner, who did a great job at coming out on top in both games. OG now has two wins in three series.

A third series loss in a row is a major blow to Nigma Galaxy. It is perhaps even more disappointing that the team hasn't been able to come close in many of these games and that some draft choices and map choices have been questionable. A series win against Alliance yesterday in the OGA Dota PIT S5: Europe/CIS was a positive moment, but that victory was not without its bumps. The team will need to make some major changes if it hopes to not only secure a Major slot but also remain in Division 1.

OG’s next series in the DPC WEU 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1 will be against COOLGUYS on 21st Dec 2021 while Nigma Galaxy plays Team Secret on 18th Dec 2021.
