OB.Neon has announced the departure of position four player Ravdan "Hustla" Narmandakh (also known as “Narman”).
Hustla joined the team in August 2021 and played for five months, with his most notable achievement being the win at the Huya Winter Invitational 2021.
The roster change for OB.Neon comes after a fifth place finish in Tour 1 of the DPC SEA 2021-22 Division 1.

OB.Neon has undergone a roster change following Tour 1 of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Southeast Asia (SEA) 2021-22 Division 1. In a Facebook post, the organization announced the departure of position four player Ravdan "Hustla" Narmandakh (also known as “Narman”). A key member of the team, Hustla played a crucial role in OB.Neon’s title victory at the Huya Winter Invitational 2021. The roster change comes after OB.Neon finished fifth in Tour 1 of the DPC 2021-22. Although the team got off to a slow start, it showed promise in the second half to stay in Division 1.

OB.Neon and Hustla part ways

“We would like to thank Narman for his efforts, his dynamic play and sense of humor will be missed by everyone at the club,” OB.Neon wrote wishing him the best in his future endeavors.

With this recent roster change, OB.Neon now lacks a position four player.

  1. Jinn Marrey "Palos" Lamatao

  2. Tri Daya "MamangDaya" Pamungkas

  3. Michael Roi "Enryu" Ladines

  4. TBD

  5. Federico Jr. Cartagina "Abeng" Dicdican

  • Wong "ChuaN" Hock Chuan (coach)

Hustla departs from OB.Neon after five months. He had joined the team in August 2021 as a replacement for Rolen Andrei Gabriel "skem" Ong. After Hustla's entry, the team went through a number of changes. The team that competed in Tour 1 of the DPC came together only a few days before its kickoff.

After having a terrible start to its Tour 1 campaign with three series losses in a row, OB.Neon started showing signs of life during the Huya Winter Invitational 2021, which occurred at the time when Tour 1 was on break. The team faced off against some of the best Chinese teams and finally won the event after defeating Royal Never Give Up 3-1 in the final.

As Tour 1 resumed, OB.Neon stunned everyone by taking down the regional juggernauts - T1, and while they didn't maintain the same level of performance in the subsequent series, they did well to finish in fifth place and maintain their Division 1 status.

The OB.Neon roster change is likely the first in a series of rumored roster changes to take place in the SEA region in the next few weeks. As a result, there will likely be plenty of players to pick from for position four for the squad. In the case of Hustla, he played in the Europe region in the past season, and it remains to be seen if he will choose to stick with SEA or try out for another European team this time.
