Mongolian Dota 2 player, Hustla Joins OB.Neon's Dota 2 roster

The Dota 2 roster of OB.Neon has finally been completed with the signing of Mongolia's Ravdan "Hustla" Narmandakh. The Filipino organization announced this roster shift on its social media handles, with Hustla now expected to play the position four role for the team. Earlier in July 2021, OB.Neon announced it had parted ways with its carry, John Anthony "Natsumi-" Vargas. Since then, team captain Rolen Andrei Gabriel "skem" Ong has been acting as the safelaner. In addition, this is the first time in a while that OB.Neon will not be fielding an all-Filipino Dota 2 roster.

OB.Neon's Dota 2 roster is set with the addition of Hustla

“Hustla is an exceptional playmaker in the roaming support role and we look forward to seeing the skills that brought Reality Rift to the Leipzig Major,” said OB.Neon as it welcomed the support player to its roster.

OB.Neon’s updated roster in the expected position one to five roles is as follows:

1. Rolen Andrei Gabriel "skem" Ong

2. Erin Jasper "Yopaj" Ferrer

3. Michael Roi "Enryu" Ladines

4. Ravdan "Hustla" Narmandakh

5. Jaunuel "Jaunuel" Arcilla

From March to June of 2021, Hustla played for the European organization called No Bounty Hunter. Although the team retained its position in the Lower Division of Season 2 of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), they parted ways. In The International 10 (TI10) Southeast Asia's (SEA) qualifier, he competed for 496 Gaming, but the team only managed to finish 9th-12th and failed to secure a place at TI10.

Hustla is best known for his time with his first major team, Reality Rift. As part of this Singaporean organization, he qualified for the DreamLeague Season 13: Leipzig Major.

OB.Neon, on the other hand, has had to change its roster after its spectacular performance at the Singapore Major. A SEA powerhouse, the team went on a downward trajectory after the Singapore Major, failing to qualify for the next major and for TI10. While the team still won a number of tier 2-3 events in the region, it did not stop them from changing its players and bringing on new ones.

OB.Neon is not scheduled to participate in any Dota 2 events at the time of writing this article. However, David "GoDz" Parker, Beyond the Summit's co-founder, may have recently hinted at a new BTS Pro Series in September 2021.

It is likely that OB.Neon will compete at the event if it takes place.
