Nouns Esports (nouns) had a very surprising and impressive run at The International 2023 (TI12). On Day 4 of TI12, Dota 2 fans around the world were treated to a remarkable surprise as North American (NA) underdogs, nouns, pulled off an astonishing victory against TI11 champion, Tundra Esports.
On 6th November, nouns posted on Twitter, “Thank you to @k1hectorxd @Gunnardota @MooDota2 @lelisdota @yamsun_dota & @filipeastini for an excellent 2023 season! Enjoying roster-mania so far? It's an exciting time to be a Dota fan, keep an eye out for our 2024 plans, coming soon!”

nouns Prepares for 2024 Dota 2 Season
The Dota 2 roster of nouns remains incomplete, lacking crucial roles in the carry and solo mid-lane positions.
Despite the void in these key positions, the team officially declared its intention to participate in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 qualifiers.
It named two stand-ins for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 — Yuma "Yuma" Langlet, the current carry for Nigma Galaxy, and Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau, presently listed in the inactive roster of Entity. This strategic decision suggests a proactive approach to filling the vacant slots on the team's roster.
Nouns Esports said, “While we work on finalizing our 2024 roster, we're gonna bring some friends along for the start of the season! @StormingStorm @yumadota. Join us in welcoming Stormstormer and Yuma to the team! They'll be standing in for our ESL One Kuala Lumpur journey!”
With ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Open Qualifiers #2 commencing tomorrow on 14th November, the team is poised to make it to the closed qualifiers and the main event eventually.
The anticipation surrounding the recruitment for the carry and mid lane roles adds an intriguing layer to the team's dynamics. Several formidable players, recently turned free agents, present potential options for nouns.
