With ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 just around the corner, Blacklist International has brought in Mushi as its new interim coach.
The team had earlier gone through a full roster change and is now an all-Filipino team.

In a strategic move that is set to reshape the competitive landscape of Southeast Asian (SEA) Dota 2, Blacklist International unveiled its new Dota 2 roster, composed entirely of Filipino talents. The team's journey to ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 was no small feat, having emerged victorious in a grueling qualification process, solidifying its position as the sole SEA representative in the main tournament.

To fortify its ranks and navigate the challenges that lie ahead, the organization has enlisted the services of Chai Yee "Mushi" Fung as its interim coach for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 which is slated to commence on 11th December.

This announcement was made via a concise and impactful Twitter post. It stated, "We're bringing in reinforcements. We are proud to announce that we will be having Chai Yee 'Mushi' Fung as our interim coach for the upcoming ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. See you all on December 11."

Mushi, a revered figure in the Dota 2 community, boasts an illustrious career as one of the pioneering professional players in the scene. Originating with Orange Esports, he made waves at The International 2012 and 2013, securing a third-place finish at TI3. Although the coveted Aegis of Champions eluded him, Mushi etched his name among Dota 2's elite players. Transitioning to coaching, Mushi has lent his expertise to renowned teams including TNC Predator and his current post with BOOM Esports.

Bringing over a decade of invaluable experience to the table, Mushi's role as an interim coach for Blacklist International signals a potential turning point for the team. While his status remains provisional, a successful stint may pave the way for Mushi to assume the mantle of the team's official coach, steering the all-Filipino lineup to unprecedented heights.

The current roster of the team includes:
