In a highly anticipated announcement, distinguished North American (NA) esports organization Shopify Rebellion, via its official Twitter account, formally unveiled its revamped Dota 2 roster for the forthcoming 2024 competitive season on 21st November 2023. The announcement was marked by a succinct tweet which that read, "Introducing Shopify Rebellion Dota 2024."
This official reveal came after a week-long period of speculation within the Dota 2 community which was triggered by a cryptic image released by the organization on 15th November, featuring placeholders for five potential team members.
The confirmed lineup for the new Shopify Rebellion roster for 2024 comprises the following players:

Shopify Rebellion first let go of Tal "Fly" Aizik, Abed "Abed" Yusop, and Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen on 8th November, ending the players' longstanding collaboration of four years with Arteezy. Following this, on 15th November, the organization teased fans with a Twitter post that included an image with five blanks, signifying the players’ names.
Yopaj, who was previously the midlaner for BOOM Esports is making his debut outside the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. Recognized for his aggressive and formidable playing style, Yopaj's inclusion is anticipated to bring a significant enhancement to Shopify Rebellion's team composition. Among his notable career achievements are victories at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022 and GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022 with BOOM Esports.
Thiolicor, formerly associated with D2 Hustlers, has assumed the position of position 4 (soft support) on the new roster. With a wealth of experience dating back to 2015, Thiolicor is expected to contribute substantially to the team's success and fans are eager to witness his strategic plays. One of his memorable plays includes a counter-initiation against OldG, where he successfully stole Black Hole, resulting in the annihilation of the opposing team.
Completing the revamped roster is Kitrak, a former player for OG, who will take on the role of hard support. Kitrak comes highly recommended by two-time The International (TI) winner Anathan "ana" Pham, who has endorsed Kitrak's skill set as a position five support.
Meanwhile, carry player Artour "Arteezy" Babaev and offlaner Yonas "SabeRLighT-" Volek will continue to be the steadfast pillars of the team.
