In an interview with NS at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai, Team Spirit's captain Miposhka revealed that Yatoro makes most of the calls in the team.
Yatoro's position as a vocal leader is accepted by his teammates as he is regarded as one of the best Dota 2 players in the annals of Dota 2 history.

During a recent interview with Dota 2 caster and commentator Yaroslav Vladimirovich "NS" Kuznetsov at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai, Team Spirit’s captain Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov talked about some of the workings of Team Spirit. Miposhka’s revelation was centered around Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk being the vocal person in the team, making most of the calls, despite Miposhka being the official team captain.

This may not come as a surprise to many as Yatoro is regarded as one of the best Dota 2 players in the current scenario or perhaps one of the best in Dota 2 history.

Miposhaka’s Insight on Team Spirit

According to the transcription and translation provided by hawk.live, Team Spirit’s Miposhka reportedly said, “So, there's a question like 'ask **** why the **** they started picking Arc [Warden].' Looks like this question is addressed to me. Well, you see, we have Yatoro on the team. He is ranked higher than everyone else. We do as he says. Does it work? Of course. Not hazing, more like... What's the word... authority. He has something to guide us with.”

Miposhka made it clear that it was Yatoro who made most of the gameplay calls within a game.

This could perhaps be attributed to Yatoro’s teammates holding him in high regard as he is often regarded as one of the best Dota 2 players in the annals of Dota 2 history.

Earlier in the tournament, Xtreme Gaming’s Wang "Ame" Chunyu was interviewed in two instances and was asked about Yatoro in both the interviews. During the first interview with Dota 2 YouTuber “Ultimate Dota,” Ame said he respected Yatoro the most in the Dota 2 community. In the second interview with Russian Dota 2 streamer Aleksandr "Nix" Levin, Ame rated Yatoro a S-Tier player. In fact, Yatoro was the only one who was put in that tier by Ame among all other carries at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai.

Notably, Team Spirit was knocked out of BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai by Azure Ray in a 2-0 series. This came as a surprise to many since Team Spirit was one of the favored teams to win the tournament.

Miposhka also revealed that he was unhappy with Team Spirit’s performance at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai. In a post-game interview after suffering defeat at the hands of Azure Ray, Miposhka said the team’s performance was mediocre throughout the tournament.

Although Team Spirit’s performance at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai was unsatisfactory, it is looking forward to the upcoming DreamLeague Season 22 tournament and hopefully will perform better in the online tournament.
