MiLAN brought up the topic of how OG chose to stick with Misha instead of ATF after TI11
Gorgc said he found this ordeal funny because MiLAN brought this fact up randomly after years.

After a dominating win over Team Liquid, Team Falcons won the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai and displayed its strength to the Dota 2 community. An integral part of the team is Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, who has been playing offlane throughout his Dota 2 career since his debut with Creepwave in 2021. On 18th February, Milan "MiLAN" Kozomara revealed that OG had opted to go with Mikhail "Misha" Agatov instead of ATF. OG had a mediocre performance at The International 2021, exiting the tournament with a 7th-8th standing.

Dota 2 streamer and personality, Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski revealed that he had something similar to what MiLAN claimed. Gorgc also said he spoke to the players about it but what came as a surprise was that MiLAN brought this fact up randomly after years had passed since the incident.

MiLAN’s Brings Up OG’s Decision To Go With Misha Over ATF After Ages

Just a reminder, OG has made the decision to go with Misha instead of Ammar following TI11.wrote MiLAN on X (formerly Twitter). One Twitter user commented, “Just a reminder we don’t know what happens inside of a team, if they kicked someone they probably had a reason. I love Ammar and I’m happy he’s successful now but he was very polemic at that moment tho, plus all this path made ATF being one of the best offlaners now.

To this, MiLAN promptly replied, “Well I do know.

Dota 2 streamer Gorgc, who went through this Twitter thread, said that he’d heard something similar to what MiLAN claimed. He further added, “I’m surprised Milan just comes out and says that. It's funny.”

ATF was moved to OG’s inactive roster after TI11 on 3rd November 2021 and after four days, he left the team to join Nigma Galaxy on 7th November. On 9th December 2021, Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin joined OG to fill the void left by ATF.

Last year on 6th March, Misha swapped roles with Evgenii "Chu" Makarov and became the coach for OG while Chu started playing as the team’s new position five. Shortly after that on 10th June 2023, Chu moved back to the coach position and was replaced by two-time TI winner Sébastien "Ceb" Debs as the new position five support.

MiLAN is a professional Dota 2 player who last played for Level UP and has participated in two TIs — The International 2017 and The International 2019 — with Hell Raisers and Chaos_Esports_Club, respectively.
