When T1 faced off against Nigma Galaxy SEA in its second series of Tour 3 of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Division 1, the team won emphatically with a 2-0 score. T1 successfully accomplished each objective in both games following the drafts while Nigma SEA failed to get anything out of its heroes in either game. The Nigma SEA gameplay was slower-paced, as it usually is, but T1 came prepared to exploit every bit of it. Karl "Karl" Jayme secured a quadruple Rampage on Tiny towards the end of the second game, sparking smiles across the T1 camp, as seen on the team’s cam.
T1 vs Nigma Galaxy SEA: Match Recap and Highlights
Recap
In game 1, Nigma SEA went for its customary slow-paced playstyle, hoping to stretch it out as long as possible. However, the squad was losing the efficiency game as T1 gradually built an advantage. T1 strolled to victory in 33 minutes with little engagement from either side, notably Nigma SEA, who was consistently outfarmed.
Game 2 was one of the Tour's most crushing defeats. T1 dominated all three lanes, not just exceeding the last hit counts on their cores but also consistently finding kills. In response, Nigma SEA could only watch bodies fall throughout the map, as it scrambled for any opponent kills. Nigma SEA was quickly confined to its base as T1 won the game in 28 minutes.
Highlights
Here are some highlights of the series.
After T1 suffered a tough loss to RSG in the first series of the season, today's comeback was simply amazing. Coach Park "March" Tae-won, who according to captain Carlo "Kuku" Palad prepares all of the strategies, deserves credit for the competitiveness of the drafts. As the competition proceeds, T1 will try to maintain a similar level of dominance.
Nigma SEA has already played four series, with only one victory. While the outcomes of other teams, which have usually played two series, will be important as the event proceeds, Nigma SEA is already one of the prospects for relegation to Division 2. With the exception of today's series, the team has fought with vigor in the other games and will be aiming to be on the winning side more often as the tournament advances.
T1 will next play Team SMG on 22nd June while Nigma SEA shall go up against BOOM Esports on 25th June.
