Popular Dota 2 streamer, Gorgc, crowns Saksa as the greatest position 4 player in the current Dota 2 scene, sparking debates in the Dota 2 community about the legendary players of this role.
Saksa's remarkable versatility, mastery of numerous heroes, and unparalleled game sense set him apart, culminating in Tundra Esports' victory at The International 2022.
Despite his exceptional skills, Saksa's absence from competitive play due to anxiety, sleep, and mental health issues underscores the importance of player well-being in the esports world.

In a recent Twitch stream, Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski, bestowed a significant accolade upon Martin "Saksa" Sazdov, declaring him the greatest of all time (GOAT) position 4 player. Saksa achieved the pinnacle of Dota 2 success by clinching The International 2022 championship with Tundra Esports. Gorgc's endorsement of Saksa in this regard carries considerable weight, particularly as it ignites debates and discussions among Dota 2 enthusiasts.

A Reddit post by u/FearBian initiated a debate amongst the community, prompting the Dota 2 community to deliberate and identify the most celebrated position 4 player of all time. Iconic names such as JerAx, fy, EGM, and YapzOr were thrust into the spotlight, underscoring the fierce competition for this coveted title.

What makes Saksa stand out?

Firstly, his unparalleled versatility allows him to excel with a wide array of heroes, consistently adapting to the ever-evolving meta. Notably, he is unafraid to experiment with non-meta heroes, often catching opponents off-guard with unconventional picks.

Saksa's exceptional game sense sets him apart. He exhibits an uncanny ability to anticipate opponents' moves, enabling him to make game-changing plays even in the most challenging scenarios. His instrumental role in Tundra's triumph at The International 2022 is a testament to this prowess, where he contributed significantly with heroes like Hoodwink, Marci, and Tiny, averaging an astonishing 20 kill + assists in the Grand Finals.

However, Saksa's current status remains inactive within Tundra Esports due to personal health challenges. In a heartfelt Twitter announcement before the Riyadh Masters, he candidly revealed struggles with anxiety, sleep, and mental health, expressing gratitude for his team's unwavering support.

On 6th September 2023, Tundra Esports subsequently announced an extended period of inactivity for Saksa, prioritizing his well-being. Saksa has made no official announcement of his retirement from Dota 2 to date.

Of the many exceptional position 4 players worldwide, Saksa's unique blend of versatility, game sense, and leadership earns him the title of the GOAT in the eyes of Gorgc and many Dota 2 enthusiasts.
