Tundra Esports are currently competing at Dreamleague Season 20 with two stand-ins, Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, and Aleksandr "Immersion" Khmelevskoi.
The two stand-ins replaced Leon "Nine" Kirilin and Wu "Sneyking" Jingjun, the positions 2 and 5 of the team.
In a recent post-match interview with Oliver "Skiter" Lepko, the carry player mentions that Sneyking would be returning while Martin "Saksa" Sazdov goes on break.

Tundra Esports, The International 11 champions and the team considered to be one of the best in the world, has secured the top spot in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) Tour 3: Division I standings. The team is now playing the Dreamleague Season 20 tournament with two stand-ins, with Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak stepping in to replace Leon "Nine" Kirilin, while Aleksandr "Immersion" Khmelevskoi will take the place of Wu "Sneyking" Jingjun. However, there have been some recent developments, which were revealed by Oliver "Skiter" Lepko in the post-match interview after their victory against Team Liquid.

Saksa goes on Break, and Sneyking is to Return

Tundra's carry player, Skiter, revealed that Sneyking would be returning to the roster on Day 2 of the tournament, while Martin "Saksa" Sazdov would be taking a leave of absence, which means that Immersion and Malr1ne will both stay on as stand-ins.

“Thats the initial plan. So, Saksa’s only gonna be playing today and then - yeah, thats all I can say for now,” he said.

This is not the first time Tundra Esports has dealt with the need for stand-ins in their roster. In DreamLeague Season 19, Saksa faced burnout and was unable to compete, leading to the inclusion of Adam "Aramis" Moroz as a stand-in. Despite the challenges, Tundra Esports managed to have a 4th place finish in the tournament, showcasing their adaptability to play with stand-ins.

As Tundra Esports continues their journey at DreamLeague Season 20, the return of Sneyking and the temporary absence of Saksa mark a significant shift in their lineup. The team remains determined to maintain its impressive performance and momentum following the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3: Division I. Being no stranger to playing with stand-ins, the team may be able to prove its adaptability and teamwork moving forward.
