Highlights
During one of his daily streams, Gorgc and YapzOr had a candid conversation about Boxi's seeming innocence.
While Gorgc said he looked innocent, YapzOr reminded Gorgc he was not.
However, Gorgc came to Boxi's defense and said he Boxi's stern loud voice makes a big difference in team calls.

On 7th February, Team Secret’s Yazied "YapzOr" Jaradat joined Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski on one of his usual streams and they watched the third day of BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai together. While watching the live stream Gorgc remarked on Samuel "Boxi" Svahn’s innocent looks but YapzOr quickly swooped in to say, “You gotta hear his comms in pub.” He impled that Boxi he gets angry a lot, contrary to his calm, innocent exterior. Gorgc, however, noted the importance of having a stern voice in a team to lead and make calls and said it should not be mistaken for anger.

Gorgc and YapzOr Discuss Boxi’s Wrathful Side

While watching Team Liquid vs Virtus.pro’s live stream, the camera panned towards the Team Liquid player booth after its win over Virtus.pro at the BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai. With the focus on Boxi, Gorgc remarked “Boxi looks like such a nice guy you know? Innocent.” YapzOr, who joined Gorgc on his stream, chuckled and said “You gotta hear his comms in pubs.

YapzOr confirmed that Boxi gets angry a lot in pubs when Gorgc asked him. Following this, Gorgc said, “Yeah, Boxi can get really angry, he can be really angry. I know that. I mean lately, I feel like you know some people criticize more but a stern loud voice can make a big difference guys, you know? Not toxic, just like 'We're doing this guys, get it together.' You know?”

Gorgc and YapzOr talked about the importance of being assertive as a team leader.

Gorgc further backed the need for a strong voice in a team and cited the problems he usually faces as example. He said, “I mean my biggest problem sometimes is that I dilly-dally. Like, 'We could contest Rosh.' Never say that sh*t. That's beta bullsh*t. Worse comms.

Whether it is assertion or anger, Boxi seems to fit in well with Team Liquid. Since his signing with the team in 2019, Team Liquid has achieved several impressive placements including a win at the ESL One Germany 2020, 3rd place at the International 2021, and second place finishes at the Lima Major 2023, DreamLeague Season 10, ESL One Berlin Major 2023, Bali Major 2023, and Riyadh Master 2023. The team also secured an impressive third place at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.
