Cooman Claims That Team Secret Cannot Win With a Limited Hero Pool Carry Player
Team Secret had an arduous journey in the regional qualifiers of The International 11 (TI11), where many of its series lasted three games. It was Entity that stood between Secret and a qualifying win that would have guaranteed it a spot at TI11. Entity initially defeated Secret 2-0 in the upper bracket and then 3-0 in the final.
Former Team Empire carry player, Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev, recently commented that a 3-0 defeat for Secret was imperative based on the current form of the two teams. Cooman, however, also proceeded to take a jab at Secret's carry player Remco "Crystallis" Arets, saying that a team can not win the event with a safelaner who knows how to play only one hero.
Cooman connects Secret's defeat to Entity in TI11’s qualifier to Crystallis' hero pool
Team Secret was able to hold its own in three hard-fought BO3 series against Nigma Galaxy, Team Liquid, and Into the Breach, but Entity simply dominated Secret both times.
As part of a recent Twitch livestream, Cooman gave his opinion of Entity's 3-0 victory against Secret. In spite of his inability to watch the games, he pointed out Entity was in a better position and was easily the favorite. Then Cooman, known for pouring out salty remarks in the Dota 2 pro scene, took a shot at Crystallis' hero pool as well.
“I did not watch the final games, I knew that Entity would win. Judging by the form of one and the other team, it was super clear that Team Secret 0:3 would fly off. How can a team win when you have a carry man who only knows how to play one hero?

During the past few months Secret hasn't lived up to expectations leading the Dota 2 community to point out Crystallis' hero pool. Many folks believe the carry's hero pool is limited to only Razor and Monkey King.
Secret originally picked Razor, who has been a solid pick all year for teams around the world, and a lot for Crystallis. However, recent nerfs and the addition of Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok have altered drafting strategies to some degree, with Crystallis playing other heroes as well.
Based on Dotabuff, he has played 80 games with Secret to date, utilizing 22 heroes. Out of these there have been 14 Razor games followed by 11 Monkey King games. The win rate for Razor stands at 42.86%, whereas the win rate for Monkey King is 81.82%. Interestingly, of the 22 heroes Crystallis has played for the squad, nine have only been used once, with all of those games resulting in defeats.
With the last chance qualifier left, Secret is still in the running for TI11. In total, 12 teams will compete in this event, but only two will advance to TI11's group stage.
