He said OG stands for stability and that it aims to make the team more cohesive and improve its performance next year.

In an engaging interview with Rosesa Gaming during the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, OG's Sébastien "Ceb'' Debs covered a wide variety of topics. He provided insight into OG's recent performance at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 qualifier and also shed light on OG’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond. Notably, OG did not qualify for the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. The team received a direct invite to the ESL One Kuala Lumpur: Western Europe closed qualifiers but was knocked out by Team Secret.

OG Is All For Stability,” Says Ceb

During the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, Rosesa Gaming sat down and chatted with two-time TI (The International) winner and OG position five player Ceb. Rosesa Gaming shared this interview on their YouTube Channel. In this interview, they covered a wide variety of topics during which Ceb shared that OG aims to have little to no change to ensure the roster’s consistent performance.

Ceb shared OG's vision for 2024. While expressing optimism, he acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding the tournament schedule. Ceb stressed the importance of a balanced schedule for new teams to develop systems and gain valuable experience in the competitive landscape.

Outlining OG's goals for 2024, Ceb confidently expressed that there would be no roster changes in OG. Ceb said, "No changes on the OG side for sure. We are all for stability… What I can say is that from OG’s side we always aim to have little to no changes. Always!”

The current OG Roster is as follows:

  • Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev

  • Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov

  • Adrián "Wisper" Dobles

  • Matthew "Ari" Walker

  • Sébastien "Ceb" Debs

Ceb Looks Back at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Qualifier

Reflecting on OG's performance at the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 qualifier, Ceb remarked, "I think our performance overall was acceptable. I think we showed some good games. Obviously, overall it was disappointing and we were really disappointed with the result. Because the practice went really well. We were beating all the teams that were part [of] the qualifiers. I mean also losing games to them, but we we got the proof that we were already good enough to beat any of these teams. So, in that sense losing the qualifier was a big disappointment."

While Ceb stated that losses are a part of the process, he still wished that OG qualified for the main event as the team wanted to play in Malaysia. According to Ceb, this qualifier loss has motivated the team and it is working really hard for the upcoming ones.

If you have been following the Dota 2 pro scene for quite some time, you will recall that Ceb initially played as an offlaner but he came out of retirement on 30th July 2023 and joined OG as the new position five support. He said he suggested this as an option and the team also felt the same.

Talking about his role as a position five support in detail, Ceb stated, "I want OG Dota to be back to where it should be and that's winning tournaments. I felt like I could help the team. I felt like I could fill the role and that I was ready to do so and that I was ready to bring a lot of value to the team."
