The page reveals that former Vikin.gg players - captain, position five player Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp and midlaner Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan have joined the team's Dota 2 roster. The new addition comes in the lead up to the Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 which begins in less than 20 days. Vikin.gg had disbanded in July 2021 after failing to qualify for The International 10 (TI10) through the Western European (WEU) regional qualifiers.

BOOM and Seleri Return to Vikin.gg ahead of DPC 2021-22

On 8th Nov 2021, Seleri was the first one to get added to Vikin.gg’s roster. In the past couple of days the community started speculating as to who all might be the other members of the team. Soon enough, BOOM was also added to the roster on 10th Nov 2021.

BOOM and Seleri added to Vikin.gg's roster

Daniel "ImmortalFaith" Moza, Vikin.gg's coach and also one of its founders, posted a cryptic tweet earlier today that might indicate that he is returning to Vikin.gg. BOOM also hinted at something similar in a response to ImmortalFaith.

However, an official confirmation with regards to Vikin.gg’s return or its new players is yet to be released.

Vikin.gg’s roster at the time of disbandment included the following players:

  1. Indji "Shad" Lub

  2. Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan

  3. Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann

  4. Adam "Aramis" Moroz

  5. Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp

KheZu has already joined Quincy Crew as its offlaner and captain, so a similar roster is unlikely to take place for Vikin.gg. On the other hand, speculation with regards to Shad and Armais’ new team is also making the rounds since both players are yet to join a new team.

Despite Vikin.gg possessing potential they failed to make a mark in TI10's regional qualifiers and went on to dissolve. After the qualifiers ended there was a time gap followed by an off-season up until the beginning of TI10 due to the event’s relocation to Romania. This may have led to the team's disbandment at that point.

There are about ten days left for the new Vikin.gg team to finalize its roster, since the roster lock date for the DPC 2021-22 has been set for 21st Nov 2021 by Valve. Having finished first in the Lower Division of the second regional league in the previous season, the team will begin its journey in the Upper Division for the DPC 2021-22. The DPC 2021-22 reportedly begins on 29th Nov 2021.
