Blacklist International signs all-star Filipino roster
“Mission: REDEMPTION. Introducing our official roster for the upcoming DPC 2023 season.” Blacklist International wrote in its announcement tweet.
Following the announcement, Blacklist International’s roster for the 2022/2023 DPC season has been confirmed as follows:
Marc Polo "Raven" Fausto
Karl "Karl" Baldovino.
Carlo "Kuku" Palad
Timothy "Tims" Randrup
Nico "Eyyou" Barcelon
Blacklist International made its entry into the SEA DPC league after recently acquiring RSG’s spot in the first division for the upcoming season. Additionally, Blacklist International & Tier One Entertainment CEO Tryke "TryQ" Gutierrez stated earlier in the month that he wanted to create an all-Filipino redemption team.
The duo of Karl & Kuku were recently released from T1, after the Korean organization were unable to qualify for The International 2022 (TI11). Karl was released before the regional qualifiers in favor of two-time TI champion Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen while Kuku was released after his contract with the team expired back in October. Raven, Tims & Eyyou on the other hand were released from their respective organizations after the expiration of their respective contracts.
Following the announcement, Blacklist International will be looking to make a name for themselves as it looks to dethrone the likes of Fnatic, BOOM Esports & Talon Esports to become the best SEA team in the region.
