Highlights
Earlier today, T1 announced on Twitter that it has parted ways with coach Park "March" Tae-won after a disappointing TI11 (The International 2022) campaign, with Kenny "Xepher" Deo also announcing his availability for next season.
However, it looks like T1 could be looking towards a possible full rebuild as Carlo “Kuku” Palad has stated that his contract with T1 has ended.

T1’s captain Carlo “Kuku” Palad has announced on Facebook that he will be pursuing other opportunities after his contract with T1 has ended. The Filipino offlaner joined T1 back in early 2021, as he captained the team towards a top eight finish at The International 2021 (TI10). However, ever since then the team’s performance has been less than ideal as multiple roster changes saw the South Korean based organization miss out on The International 2022 (TI11) after a poor display in the Last Chance Qualifiers.

As of now, the situation regarding the remaining players of the roster are still unknown.

Kuku joins Xepher & March in looking for a new team

Earlier today, T1 announced on Twitter that it has parted ways with team coach Park "March" Tae-won after a disappointing Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) campaign which saw them being eliminated from the Last Chance Qualifiers with a top six finish. Additionally, Indonesian support Kenny "Xepher" Deo also announced that he will be looking for a new team for the upcoming 2022/2023 DPC season.

However, it seems that restructuring within T1’s Dota 2 roster is not over yet as now team captain and offlaner Carlo “Kuku” Palad has announced that his contract with T1 is over following the team’s disappointing 2021/2022 DPC campaign, while also saying that he will be open to look for a new team going forward. He also stated that despite the announcement, he might remain with T1 and renew his contract with the South Korean based organization for next season.

Following the announcement, the roster of T1’s Dota 2 team is as follows:

  • Anathan "ana" Pham

  • Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen

  • Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon

While the status of ana, Topson and Whitemon’s future with the organization remains unclear, many expected Topias "Topson'' Taavitsainen to leave the squad soon as he stated that he only joined the team as a stand-in for the team’s TI11 run.
