Paragon Events, the organizer of the DPC EEU 2023 Tour 1: Division I, issued a warning to BetBoom Team for offlaner Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko's taunting comment during the series against One Move.
In the second game against One Move which lasted more than 60 minutes, Nightfall wrote 'gg ez' after winning.
BetBoom Team has so far won all five series played in the DPC EEU 2023 Tour 1: Division I.

BetBoom Team has been on a roll in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Eastern European (EEU) 2023 Tour 1: Division I, where it has defeated one team after another to claim the top position. Although the team has hardly faced resistance from its opponents, the second game against One Move lasted more than 60 minutes. After winning the highly competitive game, Team BetBoom's offlaner Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko attached 'ez' to the customary 'gg' at the end. The organizer of the DPC EEU 2023 Tour 1: Division I, Paragon Events, communicated on Telegram that BetBoom Team had been warned because of this action after the series.

Paragon Events issues a warning to BetBoom Team because Nightfall taunted in all-chat

It was expected that BetBoom Team would cruise to a 2-0 easy victory over One Move because of its recent play in the DPC league, but the latter managed to put up a strong showing in game two. The game was turning out to be much more competitive than expected, and it looked like BetBoom was heading towards an anxious third game.

Though the networth fluctuated, BetBoom prevailed in consequential late game fights to claim the victory. Players from both teams typed gg in the all-chat during the final moments, but Nightfall went on to comment gg ez (good game, easy).

Dota 2 players often make this remark in casual ranked games that are usually very close. Even though it's well known that a victory was difficult, players will all-chat gg ez to taunt their opponents. At the same time, Nightfall's taunt might potentially be the result of a personal feud with a One Move player(s).

While this is not the first time a player has attempted to taunt opponents, with similar situations occurring from time to time in official games, Paragon did not take it lightly and issued an official warning. With a screenshot of the gg ez all-chat on Telegram, the organizer wrote, “BB Team received a warning for "gg ez" after the game ended.”

The consequences of repeating such activity were not mentioned by Paragon.

BetBoom went on to play a roughly 60-minute game versus Natus Vincere as part of its next series after One Move in the DPC, but this time, no such statement was made by the team's players after winning.

At the same time, BetBoom has almost assured itself a spot in the Lima Major after winning five series in a row. On 29th Jan 2023, the team will meet Team Spirit in a series where it will arguably face the toughest competition.
