There is currently an offseason in the competitive Dota 2 space, as teams around the globe slowly work on developing their synergies in-game and outside of it. Aurora, the Southeast Asian (SEA) organization that signed Talon Esports' Dota 2 roster, has been producing a lot of content for its fans lately. In a recent tweet, the organization revealed what its five players find annoying about the game. While each one of them had their points, feeding and griefing from teammates and trash talking were two of the most common areas of irritation for Aurora’s players.

Nuengnara "23" Teeramahanon, Aurora's carry player, outlined some specifics he dislikes about the game. “I don’t like to play without thinking, having two mids randomly and playing Broodmother,” he said.
The team's midlaner Armel "Armel" Tabios expressed his irritation when the teammates in a ranked game fail to follow the game's requirements. “Feeding, support not buying wards and people not buying BKB when they need it,” he said.
For core players, especially those playing the carry role, the purchase of Black King Bar (BKB) has always been a hot topic in Dota 2. When faced with choosing between a damage item or a BKB, they often tend to opt for the former out of greed and have ended up paying the price.
Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong, captain and offlaner, is particularly annoyed with players who feed, who do not block enemies from stacking neutral camps, and players who do not have enough HP items at the start.
“I hate it when teammates feed needlessly. I also have particular dislike when the enemy is able to stack camps and also if people do not buy enough tangoes and salves.”
Supports Worawit "Q" Mekchai and Chan "Oli" Chon Kien expressed their dissatisfaction with toxic and feeding players, delivering the message that they should be calmer and not give up.
“I dislike people who are toxic, and trash talk a lot. There is no need for it,” said Q while Oli mentioned “don’t like it when people grief the games. People should not give up too easily or be too arrogant.”
Aurora's players are currently spending a significant amount of time playing ranked games, where they are likely to encounter such incidents of frustration many times. In terms of competitive Dota 2, the team is not scheduled to compete in any tournaments in the foreseeable future.
Aurora took part in the SEA qualifier for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 but did not advance to the main tournament.
