Despite Ame's misfortune in public games, he has been performing spectacularly as a pro.

During one of Artour "Arteezy" Babaev’s recent Kick streams on 10th March, he stumbled upon a rather shocking discovery regarding Xtreme Gaming’s Wang "Ame" Chunyu. Ame, regarded as one of China’s best carry players, has often been held in high regard by the community and pros alike.

However, Ame’s recent match history recorded a total of 41 losses out of the last 65 games played. Arteezy couldn’t help but let out a chuckle at Ame’s misfortune. Despite Ame’s reputation as one of the best carries, this match history raised some eyebrows and proved that no one, not even pros, can escape the dreadful “red days” of Dota 2.

Ame’s Red Days

In the world of Dota 2, competition is a staple. The high after winning or the lows after losing only adds spice to the Dota 2 experience and every Dota player has felt it. However, the one thing a Dota 2 player dreads is the inevitable “red days,” which spares no one, and seemingly not even the best Dota 2 players.

Arteezy, who has been regularly streaming, was going about his normal stream routine on 10th March until he stumbled upon Ame’s recent match history. The recent match history was filled with losses with a few wins here and there. This was a sight to behold for the Shopify Rebellion carry as he couldn’t help but laugh at Ame’s struggle. Ame's "red days" left Arteezy scratching his head.

However, such downturns are a part of the Dota 2 experience and Ame’s match history served as a stark reminder to the community that even the best players face adversity.

Despite these setbacks in his public games, his performance as a professional is a whole other story. At the recently concluded DreamLeague Season 22, Ame’s performance was nothing short of spectacular as his team was able to secure third place in the tournament. This propelled Xtreme Gaming to the second standing of the EPT Leaderboard.

Xtreme Gaming’s Ame is often regarded as one of the best carry players to never win TI (The International) and has often been held in high regard and is seen as an idol for many including the two-time TI winner IIllya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk.

Although Xtreme Gaming was unable to win the title of champion, the potential to win the title is certainly there. Looking forward, Xtreme Gaming is now gearing up for the upcoming ELITE League, an online tournament that is set to kick off on 31st March.
